Tina Turner will be renouncing her U.S. citizenship in order to become a Swiss citizen, according to ABC News.
The Zuerichsee-Zeitung newspaper said on its website that the local council announced the decision to grant Turner citizenship in an official notice published in today’s paper, per ABC News. The 73-year-old has been living in the Zurich suburb of Kuesnacht since the mid-1990s.
