Tracy Morgan leaves the hospital and enters a rehab center

30 Rock‘s Tracy Morgan, who was severely injured in a six-car accident on June 7, was released from hospital care and transferred to an undisclosed rehab center today, his rep confirms for EW. He is expected to remain in the rehab facility for several weeks.

“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go,” his rep said. “He and Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”

The accident, which occurred around 1 a.m., left Morgan in critical condition for several days. However, last week, Morgan’s condition was upgraded to fair. Morgan sustained multiple injuries in the accident including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. Comedian James McNair, who goes by the stage name Jimmy Mack, was killed in the crash.

Following the accident, 35-year-old truck driver Kevin Roper of Jonesboro, Georgia was charged with causing the multi-vehicle crash and faces one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.


Andy Samberg is engaged to Joanna Newsom

SNL alum Andy Samberg is engaged to his girlfriend of five years, singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom, People reports.

Samberg hosted the Independent Spirit Awards Saturday and might be making his way back to television for good soon. In January, Fox ordered a Samberg pilot produced by Parks and Recreation duo Dan Goor and Mike Schur.

Beyond her music, Newsom has proven she can be funny too, watch her appearance on “Seven Minutes in Heaven” with SNL writer Mike O’Brien as proof.

'SNL' star Bill Hader welcomes second daughter

Saturday Night Live funnyman Bill Hader welcomed his second daughter this Saturday in New York City, People reports. Baby Harper joins two-and-a-half-year-old sister Hannah Kathryn.

The star, 34, told the magazine that his filmmaker wife Maggie has a better handle on parenting. “[When Hannah] hit her head for the first time, she had that pause moment where she looks at you and my wife is really good because she’s like, ‘Ohh, yay, it’s okay,’” he told People. “She hit her head and I’m like, ‘NOOOO!’ And she’s like, ‘Wahhh!’ My wife [said], ‘Give her to me, just give her to me!’”

Hader was recently nominated for an Emmy and has a string of movie projects lined up for next year. He will also appear in this fall’s The Mindy Project.
