GQ on Rielle Hunter's complaints: 'She knows what she...was doing.'

According to Good Morning America, GQ is in disbelief regarding Rielle Hunter’s complaints about her “repulsive” photo shoot in the magazine. Hunter — better known as John Edwards’ mistress — had told Barbara Walters that she thought all but one photo in the magazine spread would be headshots. (The pics that ran featured the videographer in only a shirt, pearls and underwear.) “Rielle is a smart woman,” GQ reporter Lisa DePaulo — who wrote the article on Hunter — told Good Morning America. “She knows what she wore and what she was doing in the photo shoot.”

GQ‘s footage seems to support that: On the morning show, the magazine released a video of the photo shoot that showed the photographer asking Hunter, “You want to take a look at this?” following a shot.

State of the Union address set for Jan. 27

The White House has set Wednesday, January 27, as the date for President Obama’s latest State of the Union address, so it will officially not interfere with ABC’s final season premiere of Lost, as a nation previously feared. The broadcast networks should firm up plans for covering the event today; as the address will air live from 9-11 p.m. ET, Fox may plan the biggest move in switching ratings juggernaut American Idol to 8 p.m., according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Michelle Obama named 'Most Fascinating Person' by Barbara Walters

As EW previously speculated, First Lady Michelle Obama was named Barbara Walters’ Most Fascinating Person of 2009. “”It has been a whirlwind. But it’s been amazing. I mean, if you think about this year, I had to get these two beautiful girls settled into a new city, into a new home, into a new school. We got a dog. I visited eight countries with my husband. I planted a garden. I’ve started a mentoring program. It has been everything. And now, here we are at our first Christmas in the White House,” the first lady said on Walters’ special, which aired on ABC Wednesday night. She also spoke of her famously toned arms. Other most fascinating people of the year included Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert.

Source: George Stephanopoulos considering 'Good Morning America' job

An insider has confirmed to EW.com that the Washington Post’s story suggesting that George Stephanopoulos has been offered the job of co-hosting Good Morning America is mostly accurate. While the source wouldn’t delve into details about what isn’t correct, it’s safe to say the network’s chief Washington correspondent is considering the high-profile post. An ABC spokesperson told the newspaper that finding a replacement for Diane Sawyer will require four months and they are still in the middle of the process. The Post is reporting that Stephanopoulos, a onetime Clinton White House aide, also wants to keep his current job as the host of the Washington-based This Week for as long as possible.
