Miley Cyrus home burglarized

Los Angeles police are searching for a pair of burglars they say broke into Miley Cyrus’s San Fernando Valley home and stole jewelry and a luxury car, according to the Associated Press. The LAPD say a man and a woman scaled a fence and got inside the house and garage while no one was home.

This marks the second time that law enforcement has stepped in on Cyrus’s behalf in as many weeks: In late May, the 21-year-old pop star obtained a temporary restraining order against an Arizona man who was detained by police while trying to meet her.

Miley Cyrus gets restraining order against fan

Miley Cyrus has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who believes the singer is speaking to him through her songs.

A Los Angeles judge granted Cyrus a stay-away order against Devon Meek on Friday, reports The Associated Press. Los Angeles police arrested the Arizona resident on May 16 outside of a property believed to be owned by the pop star. In a sworn statement, one police detective wrote that Meek, 24, told officers they should shoot him in the head if he couldn’t meet Cyrus.

Meek has been placed in a psychiatric hospital, where he remains. According to filings by Cyrus’ attorneys, Meek has said he will continue to try to meet Cyrus once he is released. READ FULL STORY

The party ain’t gonna stop for Miley Cyrus.

After an allergic reaction to antibiotics and the cancellation of a handful of shows, the 21-year-old singer has been released from the hospital, E! News reports.

Still recovering from illness, Miley Cyrus postpones US tour until August

Miley Cyrus is postponing her U.S. tour while she recovers from an allergic reaction to antibiotics, but will resume her performances in August.

Cyrus’ representative tells The Associated Press on Friday that the singer will resume the U.S. tour Aug. 1 in Uniondale, N.Y. The new dates will include seven rescheduled shows and two additional stops.

The European leg of the tour is still scheduled to kick off May 2 in Amsterdam.

Cyrus’ rep says the singer suffered from a sinus infection last week during her “Bangerz” tour and had “an extreme allergic reaction” to the antibiotic cephalexin on Tuesday. Cyrus canceled several shows this week as a result.

Existing tickets for the 21-year-old singer’s U.S. tour will be honored at the new date.

Police say an 18-year-old Miley Cyrus fan sneaked into her dressing room a day before her Omaha concert and left a note pleading her to meet him.

Omaha television station KETV says police reported that the man, Tucker Salvesen, entered a restricted area of the CenturyLink Center on Wednesday. He then posted a Twitter message to the pop star, telling her to look for his note.

Police say Salvesen’s note pledged his love to Cyrus and said her music gave him all the answers he was looking for to mend his broken heart.

Salvesen was detained the day of the concert in a public area at the CenturyLink Center and cited on suspicion of trespassing.

Cyrus’ publicist didn’t immediately return a message from The Associated Press on Monday.

Billy Ray Cyrus’ achy-breaky heart may be healed after all!

The country singer and his wife, Tish Cyrus — parents of Hannah Montana star-turned-twerker Miley — filed for divorce in June. But over the weekend, the pair revealed that they have reconciled. First, Tish posted a cozy photo with Billy Ray on her Instagram page. Then the couple released this joint statement to People:

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together. We both went into couples therapy something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways. Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We’ve had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work.”

When it comes to splits, this isn’t the Cyruses’ first close call; Billy Ray previously filed divorce papers in 2010 before changing his mind. The pair has been married 19 years.

Police say he repeatedly threw himself against an outside wall as if he was trying to break into Cyrus’ home.

Rivera pleaded not guilty Monday and was ordered held on $100,000 bail. He is scheduled to return to court Sept. 17.
