Lindsay Lohan loses Pitbull 'Give Me Everything' lawsuit

Looks like she didn’t have this one locked up: Yesterday, a U.S. District Court judge in New York dismissed a lawsuit that troubled actress Lindsay Lohan had brought against musicians Pitbull, Ne-Yo, and Afrojack over their 2011 song “Give Me Everything.”

Lohan claimed that the song’s lyrics were “destined to do irreparable harm” to her. Specifically, she took issue with this line, which references the time she spent in jail: “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” READ FULL STORY

Lindsay Lohan in court with new lawyer, gets new trial date

Lindsay Lohan briefly appeared in court Wednesday for the first time in nearly a year and left with a new attorney, new trial date and new judge.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner shook her head when she saw Lohan seated with her attorney, just months after the judge had warned the Liz and Dick star to grow up and stay out of trouble.

The actress was required to attend the pretrial hearing involving three misdemeanor counts filed after a car crash last summer. Lohan has pleaded not guilty to lying to police, reckless driving, and obstructing officers from performing their duties.

Sautner previously sent her to jail, placed her under house arrest and forced her to perform morgue cleanup duty in another case.

Sautner warned Lohan on Wednesday that she could face jail time for a possible probation violation, even if she is acquitted of the counts filed after her sports car crashed into a dump truck. READ FULL STORY

Lindsay Lohan expected in court today to face new charges

A judge who has sentenced Lindsay Lohan to jail before will conduct her first hearing Wednesday on new misdemeanor charges of lying to authorities and reckless driving against the trouble-prone actress.

Lohan has been ordered to appear before Judge Stephanie Sautner for the scheduling hearing, which is the first time the actress has been required to appear in court in nearly a year.

Prosecutors in Santa Monica, Calif., have charged Lohan with lying to police about driving a sports car that crashed into a dump truck in June, reckless driving and obstructing officers from performing their duties.

In March, Sautner released her from supervised probation but warned her to stop partying and grow up.

“You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work,” Sautner told Lohan at the time. READ FULL STORY

Lindsay Lohan in court for lying to cops

Lindsay Lohan is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in a misdemeanor case over allegations she lied to police about a June traffic accident, though the actress is not required to attend the hearing.

Lohan is charged with reckless driving, lying to police about whether she was driving when her Porsche slammed into the back of a dump truck, and obstructing police from performing their duties. The accident occurred while Lohan and her assistant were on their way to shoot a beach scene for the television movie Liz and Dick.

Lohan told police that she wasn’t driving, but police suspect she was behind the wheel. The wreck sent her to the hospital briefly. The actress was on probation at the time for a 2011 necklace theft case and could be sentenced to 245 days in jail if a judge determines her conduct violated her probation. Her probation was revoked last month but she had yet to enter a plea on the new charges. READ FULL STORY
