Actress Angie Everhart and Carl Ferro got engaged April 23.
Everhart, known for her work as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, tweeted the news, revealing that Ferro proposed to her “in the exact spot” where the two shared their first kiss.
Jill Duggar, star of the TLC reality show 19 Kids & Counting, is getting married.
Duggar, one of the 19 kids in the show’s title, is engaged to Arkansas accountant Derick Dillard, according to People. But don’t expect to see any photos of the two kissing until their wedding day: The couple held hands for the first time once they became engaged and won’t share their first kiss until their wedding day. “It was great to grab her hand for the first time,” Dillard told People.
It’s a match made in heaven — or at least by Ryan Murphy. Emma Roberts is engaged to her American Horror Story costar Evan Peters, People confirms. Peters reportedly popped the question over the holidays. The two have been dating since 2012.
Their betrothal comes nearly six months after Roberts, 22, was arrested in Montreal following a physical altercation with Peters, 26. (In a joint statement, reps for both actors called the July incident “unfortunate” and a “misunderstanding.”)
X Factor judge and solo artist Kelly Rowland is engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon, People reports. Witherspoon evidently proposed to the former Destiny’s Child singer in an unusual way — via video chat, while Rowland was in Bulgaria. “He asked me first on Skype,” Rowland tells Queen Latifah in an interview set to air Wednesday on Latifah’s talk show. Rowland adds that she and Witherspoon have kept their relationship “very, very low — for years, to be completely honest.” Now, though, they’re ready to let the world know they’re taking the next step: “I was like, ‘I got my best friend to ride through life with.’ He really is my best friend.”
Long story short? As Rowland says in the interview — borrowing a phrase from her good pal Beyoncé — “He put a ring on it.”
Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who star as Snow White and Prince Charming on Once Upon a Time, are engaged, People reports. Dallas proposed to Goodwin in Los Angeles Wednesday.
“We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time,” the couple said in a statement.
Goodwin and Dallas met on the set of their ABC series; they went public as a couple in April 2012.
Nashville star Hayden Panettiere is engaged to world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, her on-and-off boyfriend since 2009.
The Golden Globe nominee confirmed the engagement Tuesday on Live with Kelly and Michael. After host Kelly Ripa pointed out the “very large diamond ring” on Panettiere’s left ring finger, she asked, “Does that signify anything? Is that a promise of something?” Panettiere was coy at first, saying, “I think it speaks for itself” — but when Ripa asked point-blank if she was engaged, the actress answered affirmatively.
Panettiere and Klitschko — a Ukranian boxer 13 years her senior and a full one foot, four inches taller than she is — first met at a book party four years ago. The two parted ways in 2011 before reuniting earlier this year.
Dot-Marie Jones is engaged to her girlfriend Bridgette Casteen, E! reports.
The 49-year-old actress, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on Glee, proposed to her girlfriend at Disneyland on Friday during Anaheim Gay Days.
“Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world. #engaged,” Casteen tweeted, sharing a picture of the proposal.
Naya Rivera is engaged to her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean, People reports.
The Glee star debuted her new engagement ring at Latina magazine’s Hollywood Hot List Party in Los Angeles Thursday. She and her beau have been dating for about six months. As Rivera admitted on Access Hollywood last month, the pair met on Twitter: “I had followed him, and he sent me a little message like, ‘I’m a fan,’” Rivera explained. “We went to dinner and the rest is history.”
Chad Michael Murray is back on the market.
The One Tree Hill star, who was once married to co-star Sophia Bush, has ended his engagement to Kenzie Dalton. People reports that the couple, who originally met when Dalton played a high school cheerleader on OTH, separated earlier this year.
Murray and Dalton first got engaged in 2006, just before his divorce from Bush was finalized.
