'Chrisley Knows Best' son wanted on assault charges

Chrisley Knows Best guest star Kyle Chrisley is wanted in South Carolina on domestic violence and assault and battery charges.

The eldest son of show star Todd Chrisley, Kyle allegedly struck the mother of his child after a late-night altercation in February 2013. According to a post on the Facebook page of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, he also threatened the woman’s sister with a knife.

Man arrested a second time near home of Selena Gomez

Authorities say they have re-arrested a man who was ordered to stay away from the home of Selena Gomez.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said they arrested 20-year-old Che Cruz on Friday after he was spotted near the home in suburban Calabasas.

Cruz had been arrested on March 30 on suspicion of trespassing at the home. On Wednesday, he acknowledged trespassing at the home and was sentenced to 45 days in jail and probation.

Jail records show his arrest on Friday came eight hours after Cruz was released from jail after serving seven days in the trespassing case.

Jail records did not indicate whether Cruz had an attorney. He was being held on $20,000 bail.

Man gets jail for trespassing at Selena Gomez home

Prosecutors say a man charged with trespassing at Selena Gomez’s home has been sentenced to 45 days in jail and ordered to stay away from the singer-actress.

Los Angeles district attorney’s spokesman Ricardo Santiago says Che Cruz admitted trespassing at an initial court appearance Wednesday and was immediately sentenced.

Cruz was arrested Sunday in Gomez’s guesthouse and was charged Wednesday with one count of misdemeanor trespassing.

Santiago says Cruz was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to stay away from Gomez and her home in Calabasas, Calif.

Authorities say Gomez arrived home Sunday night and called security after hearing noises on the property.

Gomez rose to fame as the star of the TV series Wizards of Waverly Place.

Sheriff: Man broke into Selena Gomez guesthouse

Authorities say they’ve arrested a man who’s accused of breaking into Selena Gomez’s guesthouse while the 21-year-old actress and singer was home.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says 20-year-old transient Cruz Che is being held Monday on $50,000 bail. Deputies didn’t know if he’d retained an attorney.

Sgt. Fray Lupian says Gomez arrived at Gomez’s Calabasas (cal-uh-BASS’-us) home at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when she heard a noise and called security.

Officials: Reality TV star Benzino shot by nephew

Reality TV star Benzino was injured after being shot by his nephew on a Massachusetts highway Saturday while riding in a funeral procession for a family member, according authorities and Benzino’s hip-hop magazine.

Benzino, whose real name is Raymond Scott, is a cast member of the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and CEO of Hip-Hop Weekly. The magazine confirmed on its website Saturday night that Benzino had been shot.

The 48-year-old Benzino was traveling on Route 3 south of Boston just before noon when 36-year-old Gai Scott pulled alongside and fired several shots into a red SUV driven by Benzino, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement. Kanye West pleads no contest in battery case

Kanye West pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery against a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport in a special plea in which he maintains his innocence.

West entered the plea Monday through his attorney and did not attend the court hearing. He was sentenced to two years of probation, 24 anger management therapy sessions and 250 hours of community service.

The rapper did not reach a civil settlement with the paparazzo, and his plea cannot be used against him in a civil lawsuit.

West was charged with misdemeanor counts of battery and grand theft after an altercation at LAX with photographer Daniel Ramos in July.

Sarah Hyland assaulted by man in Australia

A man allegedly touched Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland inappropriately at an event in Australia on Thursday, People writes.

The 29-year-old man asked for a photo with Hyland and then grabbed her breast, according to The Daily Mail. Hyland immediately left the event and apologized for her early exit via Twitter. The man was arrested and charged with assault with an act of indecency.

Los Angeles police have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of trespassing at the home of singer-actress Selena Gomez.

'Sopranos' actor Lillo Brancato Jr. released after nearly 10 years in prison

Lillo Brancato Jr., best known for his roles in A Bronx Tale and The Sopranos, was released from prison Tuesday after spending nearly a decade in lockup, CNN reports. The Colombia-born actor, 37, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after attempting to steal drugs from a vacant house in New York City. When Brancato and his accomplice, Steven Armento, were confronted by off-duty police officer Daniel Enchautegui — who happened to live next door — Armento shot the cop in the chest. Enchautegui was later pronounced dead at the Bronx’s Jacobi Medical Center. Brancato was found guilty of attempted burglary; Armento was convicted for shooting Enchautegui and is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

“I’m finally home!” Brancato tweeted Tuesday. “Thank you God for a second chance at life. I won’t let you down this time. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!”

'Boardwalk Empire' star Christopher McDonald charged with DWI

Actor Christopher McDonald was arrested and charged early Wednesday morning for a DWI in Wilmington, N.C., EW has confirmed.

Sergeant C.K. Parks said the 58-year-old Happy Gilmore vet, who is on location shooting  the film The Squeeze, was stopped by the State Highway Patrol at 1:45 a.m. and taken into the New Hanover County jail after a breathalyzer test determined McDonald’s blood alcohol was 0.15 — nearly two times the state’s legal limit.

McDonald was released on $1,000 bail at 7:20 a.m. He has a court date set for Dec. 11.

McDonald’s publicist had no immediate comment.
