'Real Housewives' star Gretchen Rossi proposes to her man

Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi proposed to her longtime boyfriend Slade Smiley (also of Housewives fame), People reports. Life & Style has pictures of the happy couple with Rossi showing off her 4-carat yellow diamond ring.

”Life is too short, I’m in love with this man, and I needed to take the plunge!” Rossi tells the magazine of taking the step to propose herself. Rossi’s bold move will be televised on an upcoming episode of the Bravo reality series. This will be Rossi’s second marriage, Smiley’s first.

It’s not all scotch for breakfast and repressed emotions for Mad Men actors! Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are engaged, EW has confirmed. Bledel played Pete Campbell’s (Kartheiser) mistress on Mad Men last season. This is the first marriage for both. (Us Weekly originally reported the news.)

Bledel just signed on to be in the new Fox sitcom Friends & Family, co-starring Jason Ritter, about a young couple. Kartheiser can be seen in Mad Men which returns April 7.
