The caped crusader will soon be preparing for daddy duty.

Arrow star Stephen Amell is expecting his first child with wife Cassandra Jean. People reports that the happy couple walked the red carpet at the Monte Carlo TV Festival on Sunday, where they shared their good news.

Amell told ET Canada: “I’m excited — no I’m not excited, I’m very excited! I’m sure that nervous energy will accompany that eventually, but only in a positive way.”

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler wed

The former reality TV star and current NFL quarterback have gotten hitched.

Cavallari tweeted just after the ceremony:

Only a few hours after getting their marriage license in Nashville, the couple announced they were married. After a breakup following their engagement in July 2011, the couple reconciled and got engaged again in November 2011, shortly after announcing that Cavallari was pregnant with their son Camden, who was born in August 2012.

Cutler has played for the Denver Broncos and now the Chicago Bears. Cavallari gained fame on MTV’s Laguna Beach, also making appearances on its spinoff shows, Dancing With the Stars, and various TV and film parts.

Tamar Braxton gives birth to baby boy

Tamar Braxton and her husband, Vince Herbert, have  added a baby boy to their family, People reports. Braxton took to Twitter on Thursday to announce the sex of the couple’s first child, which she and Herbert had kept a secret. The stars of the show Tamar & Vince originally announced the pregnancy in March after battling fertility problems.

The couple have been married since 2010.

On Tuesday Jennifer Love Hewitt told the world that she is pregnant, and now the actress has another announcement: She’s engaged! People reports that Hewitt is engaged to her Client List co-star and boyfriend of 15 months, Brian Hallisay. Both 34, the couple met on the set of the NBC show Love Bites and are now expecting their first child together.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette finalize divorce

Court records show Courteney Cox and David Arquette have finalized their divorce.

A Los Angeles judge approved the couple’s breakup Tuesday after nearly 14 years of marriage. Details of their divorce settlement are confidential.

Cox and Arquette legally separated on Dec. 31, 2011, about six months before the pair filed for divorce. The couple met while filming “Scream” and announced their split in October 2010.

At the time, they said they were committed to raising their daughter together and remained best friends.

Cox gained widespread fame for her role on the TV comedy “Friends.” Arquette was an executive producer of her recent series, “Cougar Town,” and has appeared in numerous films, including “Never Been Kissed.”

The website for People magazine was first to report Wednesday that the divorce is final.

David Beckham announces retirement from soccer

Soccer legend and current Paris Saint-German player David Beckham has announced that he is retiring from the sport at the end of the current French season, reports CNN. During his lengthy professional career Beckham, 38, played for multiple teams, including AC Milan, Real Madrid, and the Los Angeles Galaxy. He also starred for the English national team and was part of the hugely successful Manchester United team of the ’90s managed by Alex Ferguson, who announced his own retirement just last week.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder end their relationship

Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are no longer together.

People reports that the couple have ended their relationship, which flew under the radar despite rumors that it’s been ongoing for several years. Indeed, Dobrev and Somerhalder (who plays high schooler Elena and decades-old vampire Damon, respectively, on TV) have been known to avoid any overt sign of romance — refusing even to pose on the red carpet together.

“But sometimes you can’t help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long,” Dobrev told Seventeen, “which I did for a really, really long time.”

Melissa Gilbert marries 'thirtysomething' star Timothy Busfield

Former Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert wed The West Wing and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip actor Timothy Busfield in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif., yesterday, Gilbert’s rep confirmed to People.

Gilbert, a former president of the Screen Actors Guild who competed on season 14 of Dancing with the Stars (she came in fifth), and Busfield, who won an Emmy for his work on thirtysomething, announced their engagement earlier this year.

Both have been married twice before – she to actors Bo Brinkman and Bruce Boxleitner, he to Jenny Merwin and actress Radha Delamarter. Gilbert has two children and Busfield has three.

Dierks Bentley and wife expecting third child

Dierks Bentley fans can expect more songs about being a father when the country singer and his wife, Cassidy, welcome their third child this fall.

Bentley took to Twitter to announce the exciting news, “so my wife and i will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. switching from MAN-to-MAN to ZONE. #3! advice @thetimmcgraw?!” Although it is too early to know if it’s a boy or a girl, Bentley is already a father to two girls, Evalyn Day, 4, and Jordan Catherine, 2.
