Former Family Ties star Meredith Baxter is married, People reports.
The actress wed her partner of seven years Nancy Locke in Los Angeles on Sunday.
“Now I understand why marriage caught on!” Baxter told People.

Future surprised the Grammy-winner with a 15-carat diamond ring over the weekend, their publicist, Chris Chambers, told The Associated Press on Sunday night. She was already celebrating her 28th birthday in New York when he proposed.
Future and Ciara have been dating for a year. No wedding date has been set.
Future is also a producer who has collaborated with Rihanna and his future wife. He’s currently on tour with Drake.
Besides the recent hit “Body Party,” Ciara’s hits include “Goodies,” “Promise” and “Like a Boy.”
Dina and Clint Eastwood are officially calling it quits after 17 years of marriage, People reports.
The 48-year-old former E! reality star filed for divorce from actor Clint Eastwood, 83, on Monday in Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, Calif., citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have been separated since last month.
According to People, Dina is also filing for physical custody of their daughter, Morgan,16, and is additionally seeking spousal support and attorney fees to be paid by her former husband.
Linda Hogan, co-star and wife of Crocodile Dundee actor Paul Hogan, has filed for divorce according to People.
They were married for 23 years. Linda, 55, met Paul, 74, while filming Crocodile Dundee in 1986.
Linda filed divorce papers on Thursday citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. She requests spousal support, joint legal and physical custody of their 15-year-old son, and the restoration of her maiden name, “Kozlowski.”
Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who star as Snow White and Prince Charming on Once Upon a Time, are engaged, People reports. Dallas proposed to Goodwin in Los Angeles Wednesday.
“We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time,” the couple said in a statement.
Goodwin and Dallas met on the set of their ABC series; they went public as a couple in April 2012.
Nashville star Hayden Panettiere is engaged to world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, her on-and-off boyfriend since 2009.
The Golden Globe nominee confirmed the engagement Tuesday on Live with Kelly and Michael. After host Kelly Ripa pointed out the “very large diamond ring” on Panettiere’s left ring finger, she asked, “Does that signify anything? Is that a promise of something?” Panettiere was coy at first, saying, “I think it speaks for itself” — but when Ripa asked point-blank if she was engaged, the actress answered affirmatively.
Panettiere and Klitschko — a Ukranian boxer 13 years her senior and a full one foot, four inches taller than she is — first met at a book party four years ago. The two parted ways in 2011 before reuniting earlier this year.

Grey’s Anatomy alum T.R. Knight wed his longtime boyfriend on Friday in upstate New York, People reports. Former co-stars Katherine Heigl and Kate Walsh were in attendance; Heigl tweeted photos from the wedding. Knight, who played George on the long-running medical drama, left Grey’s in 2009 and is currently starring in an off-Broadway production of Romeo & Juliet.
Naya Rivera is engaged to her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean, People reports.
The Glee star debuted her new engagement ring at Latina magazine’s Hollywood Hot List Party in Los Angeles Thursday. She and her beau have been dating for about six months. As Rivera admitted on Access Hollywood last month, the pair met on Twitter: “I had followed him, and he sent me a little message like, ‘I’m a fan,’” Rivera explained. “We went to dinner and the rest is history.”
