Twitter silence fuels Ashton Kutcher/Demi Moore breakup rumors
UPDATE: Looks like the couple doesn’t want fans to believe the rumors. This afternoon, Kutcher tweeted, “When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME.”
Just as he’s getting comfortable as the new star of Two and Half Men, Ashton Kutcher is facing rumors that his six-year marriage to Demi Moore might be on the rocks. The two prolific tweeters have been uncharacteristically silent lately, with Moore’s sole tweet on Sept. 23, the day before their anniversary, especially revealing: “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger. — Epictetus”
For his part, Kutcher reportedly spent his wedding anniversary in Las Vegas with That 70′s Show costar Danny Masterson.
The couple’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment, but Kutcher tweeted a link to his Spotify account this morning that played Public Enemy’s “Don’t Believe the Hype.”

According to People, the two ended things amicably after growing apart while filming non-SNL projects in different locations this past summer. Armisen began dating Elliott after splitting from ex-wife and Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss.
A-Rod and Cameron Diaz strike out
Sadly, the relationship was as swing and a miss. Yankees star Alex Rodriguez confirmed to People that he and Cameron Diaz have decided to part ways. “I have a lot of love for Cameron,” he told People. “We’ll always be friends.” The couple had been together for over a year.
Laurie Metcalf splitting with husband Matt Roth
Laurie Metcalf will soon be a single lady, People reports. After six years of marriage, the actress is divorcing her actor husband, Matt Roth. (Roth, who played Metcalf’s abusive boyfriend Fisher on Roseanne, filed papers Sept. 12 and cited irreconcilable differences.) The divorce was not entirely unexpected: The couple have been separated since 2008. Metcalf and Roth have three children: Will, 17; Donovan, 11, and Mae, 6.
Lea Michele and boyfriend Theo Stockman split
Lea Michele is Theo Stockman’s Broadway baby no more. After more than a year of dating, the Glee actress has split from her fellow musically-inclined beau, American Idiot‘s Stockman. E! initially broke the news on Monday, Sept.19 that Michele, 25, and Stockman, 26, who was by her side at the infamous Time 100 gala name-gate incident, have called it quits. A rep said in a statement, “This is not a dramatic breakup, the relationship just ran its course. They are still friends and will always be friends.” Michele posted to fans from her Twitter page late Monday evening, “You guys are all also so amazing.. Reading all your messages now. Love you guys too..”
Michaele Salahi's husband files for divorce, citing relationship with Journey guitarist Neal Schon
Tareq Salahi, husband of former The Real Housewives of D.C. star Michaele Salahi, filed for divorce Friday on the grounds of adultery. The Salahis, who were previously known for attending a White House state dinner without an invitation, made headlines earlier this week when Tareq reported his wife missing Tuesday night. The Warren County , Va. Sheriff’s department confirmed that Michaele was fine, staying “with a good friend,” and didn’t want to return home. It was later confirmed that the friend was Journey guitarist Neal Schon.
Schon is mentioned by name in the papers, and Tareq stresses the humiliation caused by the public’s knowledge of his wife’s affair. “Over the objections of me, she continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted the same throughout the community, the nation and indeed the world, and thus caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation, and embarrassment,” says the complaint.
He also claims that Schon sent an “email with an attachment of a penis” to his own account, and that Journey paid for Michaele’s “travel, accommodations, and other expenses.” Tareq says that there is no hope for reconciliation, and mentions that the couple has a prenuptial agreement.
Brad Pitt blames self, clarifies remarks about Jennifer Aniston marriage

Brad Pitt would like a do-over.
The Moneyball actor issued a statement Thursday night clarifying remarks he made to Parade magazine about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, which ended six years ago.
Here’s what he said originally:
“I spent the ’90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
While he expressed dissatisfaction with the relationship — far from the worst thing ever said about an ex — the interview triggered a wave of rage in the blogosphere. Here’s the follow-up statement he sent EW:
“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself – and that, I am responsible for.”

Mel Gibson reaches settlement with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva
Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have reached a financial and child custody settlement after a highly public battle that lasted over a year, reports the Associated Press. Details of the settlement have not been announced; final terms for both a monetary agreement and custody of the couple’s nearly two-year-old daughter will be handled in closed hearings.
Last March, Gibson pled no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an alleged incident with Grigorieva in 2010. Two months later, Grigorieva reportedly dropped her domestic violence claim in her court battle for custody of their daughter.
Terms of Gibson’s divorce from his wife of 31 years, Robyn Gibson, were finalized in June; that split should be complete next week.
