Melanie Lynskey files for divorce

Melanie Lynskey has filed for divorce from her husband of five years, reports People.

The Two and a Half Men actress married It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Jimmi Simpson in her native New Zealand in 2007. They met on the set of Stephen King miniseries Rose Red in 2001.

Lynskey cited “irreconcilable differences” in the Sept. 25 filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The couple have been separated since April 9.

Lynskey currently appears in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Sundance hit Hello, I Must Be Going.

Amy Poehler, Will Arnett ending nine-year marriage

Comedy stars Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are splitting after nine years together, People reports. The pair, who both star on NBC shows — he on Up All Night, she on Parks and Recreation — have two young sons.

Both are nominated for Emmy awards. Poehler is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Parks and Rec; Arnett is nominated for a guest spot on 30 Rock.

Arnett was previously married to actress Penelope Ann Miller; it was Poehler’s first marriage.

'Real Housewives' star Adrienne Maloof, husband to divorce

Adrienne Maloof’s husband Paul Nassif has filed for divorce, People reports. Maloof, who stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, married Nassif, a plastic surgeon, in 2002. They have three children and Nassif is seeking joint custody. Nassif filed a separation agreement from Maloof last month.

Smooth jazz star Kenny G (real name: Kenneth Bruce Gorelick) and his wife, Balynda Helene Benson-Gorelick are divorcing after 20 years together, People reports. They were married in 1992, but have been separated for the past seven months. Kenny G is seeking joint custody of the couple’s 14-year-old son,  Noah.

Gillian Anderson and Mark Griffiths, her partner of six years, have parted way, reports People. The former X-Files star and Griffiths have two children, 5-year-old Oscar and 3-year-old Felix. Though Anderson and Griffiths never wed, the actress has been married twice before; she split from first husband Clyde Klotz in 1997 and second husband Julian Ozanne in 2006.

Willa Ford, Mike Modano divorcing

Dancing with the Stars alum Willa Ford, 31, and her husband, Mike Modano, 42, are getting a divorce, People reports. The couple married in 2007.

“It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce,” the couple told People in a statement through her rep. “They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness.”

Ford currently appears in the Starz drama Magic City.

'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Adrienne Maloof, husband to separate

Bravo reality star Adrienne Maloof’s husband, Paul Nassif, filed for legal separation from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Monday, citing irreconcilable differences, People reports. They have been married for more than a decade and Nassif is seeking custody of their three children. Nassif is a plastic surgeon and had his own reality TV stint on E!’s Dr. 90210.

'Game of Thrones' actress Lena Headey getting divorced

Lena Headey, who plays the conniving Cersei Lanniseter on HBO’s Game of Thrones, has filed for divorce from her husband, musician Peter Loughran, reports People. The actress, 38, wed Loughran in 2007, but has reportedly been separated from him since last year. She is petitioning for joint legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son, Wylie.

Ethan Embry, Sunny Mabrey file for divorce

Actors Ethan Embry and Sunny Mabrey have filed for divorce, People reports.

The couple separated in April and would have celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary last week.

Embry (known for roles in the ’90s teen hit Can’t Hardly Wait as well as Vegas Vacation, Timeline and Showtime’s Brotherhood) and Mabrey (who has appeared in Snakes on a Plane and guest starred on several TV shows) cited irreconcilable differences when they filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Former Spy Kid Alexa Vega, 23, filed for divorce from Napoleon Dynamite producer Sean Covel, 36, on June 28, People reports. The couple wed in October 2010.

On Thursday, Vega tweeted, “We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. — Sam Keen”
