Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet welcome first child, a boy
Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard and actor-director Guillaume Canet have welcomed their first child, a boy named Marcel, according to People. The child was born in Paris on Thursday night. (Canet is best known stateside for starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach, and for directing the thriller Tell No One.) A source told People that “mother and baby are fine” and that Cotillard is “very happy.”

Report: Carla Bruni-Sarkozy pregnant
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is pregnant with her second child, People reports, citing confirmation reports from her father-in-law. Bruni, the supermodel-turned-singer-turned first lady of France, appears in Woody Allen’s latest film, Midnight in Paris.
She married French president Nicolas Sarkozy in 2008 and has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.

'The Office' star Jenna Fischer is pregnant
The Office‘s Jenna Fischer and her husband, filmmaker Lee Kirk, are expecting their first child, People reports. On The Office, Fischer’s character, Pam Beesly, had a child with husband Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) last season. Fischer, 37, will next star in her husband’s feature directing debut, the indie romantic comedy The Giant Mechanical Man, co-starring Chris Messina (Julie and Julia), Topher Grace, and Malin Akerman.

Clueless star Alicia Silverstone has given birth to her first child, People reports. The actress and husband Christopher Jarecki have welcomed a baby boy, named Bear Blu Jarecki. The couple has been married since 2005. “Mom and Dad are completely in love” with their “beautiful baby boy,” the actress’ rep said in a statement.

Emma Bunton, one-fifth of the 1990s pop group the Spice Girls, has given birth to her second child, named Tate, according to her Twitter. The singer — who, as a Spice Girl, was labeled Baby Spice, thanks to her youthful wardrobe — also has a 3-year-old son, Beau, with her fiancé, chef Jade Jones. “Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound!” Bunton tweeted. “We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all.”

Bryan Adams has become a father for the first time, reports People. The 51-year-old Canadian rocker and Alicia Grimaldi — his personal assistant and co-founder of his foundation – welcomed daughter Mirabella Bunny on April 22. Adams is slated to resume his world tour in the Netherlands on June 6.

Mariah Carey reveals twins' names
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have revealed the names of their newborn twins and they are mmmmarvelous. Not literally, but since the couple had teased online that their children’s names began with the letter M, speculation had only increased. On Carey’s official website, the couple announced that their son’s name is Moroccan Scott Cannon and their daughter is named Monroe Cannon. Moroccan refers to the Moroccan Room in Carey’s apartment (where Cannon proposed), and Scott is Cannon’s middle name and his grandmother’s maiden name. Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe.
