Mia Farrow has taken to her Twitter account to respond to the controversy surrounding her adopted daughter’s essay in The New York Times detailing her alleged sexual abuse by adopted father Woody Allen.
I love my daughter. I will always protect her. A lot of ugliness is going to be aimed at me. But this is not about me, it's about her truth.—

Allen, who has always denied the charges, called Dylan Farrow’s essay “untrue and disgraceful.” Allen’s lawyer, Elkan Abramowitz, appeared on the Today show on Tuesday to defend his client and further deny the accusations. Abramowitz took aim at Mia Farrow over the weekend, calling the abuse claims a “story engineered by a vengeful lover.”
