The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is cracking down on Justin Bieber. The singer’s house is currently being searched after Bieber was named a suspect in an egg-throwing incident on a neighbor’s home, EW has confirmed.
“Yes, we have served a search warrant at [Justin Bieber's] residence as part of a felony vandalism investigation,” Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told EW. Whitmore said the investigation is currently in process. TMZ, which first reported the news, notes Bieber is home and currently with police in his garage while the search takes place.
TMZ points out that cops will look for anything that is relevant to the egg incident, “including other eggs in the house and possible video,” but if in the process of their search they come across illegal substances such as drugs, “it’s fair game.”
