'One Day at a Time' actress Bonnie Franklin diagnosed with pancreatic cancer

Actress Bonnie Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is undergoing treatment, reports USA Today.

Most recognized for playing divorced mom Ann Romano in CBS comedy One Day at a Time from 1975 to 1984, Franklin, 68, more recently has appeared in shows like Hot in Cleveland and Touched by an Angel. She is currently performing in an arc on CBS soap The Young and the Restless as a nun named Sister Celeste. Her final episode on the show airs tonight.
