Singer Avril Lavigne is engaged to Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, People reports. The Canadian musical pair had been dating for the past six months, but kept their relationship under wraps. They met while working together on Lavigne’s fifth album.
The “Sk8er Boi” singer was previous married to Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley, from whom she split in 2009.
