Tommy Chong is battling prostate cancer

On Saturday Tommy Chong — one half of the famed “Cheech and Chong” duo – announced on CNN  that he is currently battling prostate cancer.

Chong, 74, said he was first diagnosed about a month ago, though it’s an illness he’s had “for a long time,” and in told CNN’s Don Lemon that he’s treating it with hemp oil and cannabis. “So [legalizing marijuana] means a lot more to me than just being able to smoke a joint without being arrested,” he said on the news program.
