Aerosmith concert in Paraguay postponed after Steven Tyler falls in hotel bathroom

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler suffered minor injuries after falling in a hotel bathroom in Paraguay on Tuesday, prompting the band to postpone tonight’s concert until tomorrow, reports the AP.
The 63-year-old singer and American Idol judge was treated at a hospital in Asuncion for facial cuts and needed dental implants after breaking two teeth. A spokesman for the concert organizers called the accident “small,” noting: “He is fine, he’s in his hotel but he’s not able to do the concert.”
In the summer of 2009, Tyler broke his shoulder after tumbling off the stage during a South Dakota gig, forcing the cancellation of the remaining dates on Aerosmith’s North American tour.

on the bright side…Tyler drew the schematic for a Flux Capaciter after hitting his head on the toilet. maybe now he can ride his AI fame back to the days of Toys in the Attic and write a decent tune or two.

no matter – with teeth or off teeth – he is really perfect – coz he´s the DEMON OF SCREAMING — jealous !!

  • Kim from Texas

There must be a joke here somewhere. Was he eating a banana and slipped on the peel? Did he drop the soap in the shower?

    • Ethan

No joke, just a dude in his late 60s. He can fool people with his face (or disturb people with his face, whatever), but he’s still an old guy. When they fall, it’s a big deal.

Well said. Steven needs to find a nice pasture to graze in and call it a career. His solo music video that debuted last idol cycle was like the fever dream of an elderly man trying to recall his youth all at once. Every stadium he sells out in the developing world just takes money away from newer, harder working acts that struggle for airplay and revenue.

      • UM

Dude, really?? You think 63 is elderly? What are you, like 12?

      • Garriche
