Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler suffered minor injuries after falling in a hotel bathroom in Paraguay on Tuesday, prompting the band to postpone tonight’s concert until tomorrow, reports the AP.
The 63-year-old singer and American Idol judge was treated at a hospital in Asuncion for facial cuts and needed dental implants after breaking two teeth. A spokesman for the concert organizers called the accident “small,” noting: “He is fine, he’s in his hotel but he’s not able to do the concert.”
In the summer of 2009, Tyler broke his shoulder after tumbling off the stage during a South Dakota gig, forcing the cancellation of the remaining dates on Aerosmith’s North American tour.

on the bright side…Tyler drew the schematic for a Flux Capaciter after hitting his head on the toilet. maybe now he can ride his AI fame back to the days of Toys in the Attic and write a decent tune or two.
LOL OLD CRAPPER FELL AND BROKE HIS TEEFF.. LOL WE’RE ALL LAUGHING.
Paraguay bathrooms are tiny so he probably slid all the way down.
no matter – with teeth or off teeth – he is really perfect – coz he´s the DEMON OF SCREAMING — jealous !!
There must be a joke here somewhere. Was he eating a banana and slipped on the peel? Did he drop the soap in the shower?
No joke, just a dude in his late 60s. He can fool people with his face (or disturb people with his face, whatever), but he’s still an old guy. When they fall, it’s a big deal.
Well said. Steven needs to find a nice pasture to graze in and call it a career. His solo music video that debuted last idol cycle was like the fever dream of an elderly man trying to recall his youth all at once. Every stadium he sells out in the developing world just takes money away from newer, harder working acts that struggle for airplay and revenue.
Dude, really?? You think 63 is elderly? What are you, like 12?
I tlotlay agree! I didnt think Id like the new judges but Im LOVING THEM! Jlo is so sweet and Steven? GOSH Im loving that man! I cried like a babe to. And I loved every second!
@Chut up – “Every stadium he sells out in the developing world just takes money away from newer, harder working acts that struggle for airplay and revenue.”

That was the most idiotic comment I’ve ever read. I sincerely hope you meant it as a joke!
Is he going to do commercials for Life Alert now? “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!”
I love ST (and Aerosmith) and all, but +1.
LMAO! Too funny!
feel better,we will be lost without you on idol.
Finally, his big mouth is closed!
He fell again? Perhaps it’s time to retire, Steve.
Well, thank goodness Ol’ Man River didn’t break a hip. Falls are dangerous for a man his age. eek!
epamcin117 on June 13, 2011 @CutThroatKid123 I didn’t know the exact price, I only knew it was someonthing REDICULOUS, especially for a hat .. and the last time I played was like 6-8 months ago.

So, a word to the wise: don’t “Walk This Way”.
LOL!
He probably just realized he has to go back to AI this year and tried to end it all.
Maybe they can rename some songs, Going down/Love on the BR floor, Uncle Slippery, Toys on the floor, Fall this way, Janies got a walker, Falling down is hard on the knees…
Best one!
Falling in Paraguay is so hard on the kneeeeeeees …..
No surprise, most people who drink to much fall down a lot. Lucky he didn’t fall on the tracks in a subway.
Had no idea Steven was 63! Damn! Feel better Steven!
