Reese Witherspoon has decided to not press charges after being hit by a car Wednesday. People reports that the actress, who only suffered minor injuries, has decided to “move on” after the incident. The driver did face some consequences, and was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

I commend Ms. Witherspoon for her tact in this situation. I have been on both sides of this situation. Once I hit a pedestrian while driving too quickly to get to a fitting for the Oscars; and I was also once flattened by a Volkswagen when I was crossing a road on my way to a Alexander McQueen runway show. It’s hard being famous and getting hit by a car/hitting someone with your car, trust me.

When told she hit a hot young movie star the 84 year old grandma was horrified because she thought she hit Shirley MacLaine.

That is nice of her….however if it was the other way around and they found out who she was it would be a million dollar law suit! Everyone should be as forgiving!
