Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith not separating

Today is not quite Independence Day for Will Smith. The actor and his wife of 13 years, Jada Pinkett Smith, released a statement through their rep saying are not separating, as In Touch reported. “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” said the couple.

The Smiths have two children: Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. Smith has a son, Trey, from a previous relationship, who tweeted earlier today that the break-up news was false.

What a hateful couple. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before their split actually happens. Good riddance,

    • jide

dont be a hater, what have they done to you, because your life is miserable does not mean you should spray your bad energy on everyone else…i pray they have a lasting foundation and their marriage blossoms forever….getalife please

      • hang

Such a relief. Will Smith is a terrific actor and seems like a decent guy. It would be such a shame if his marriage collapsed. My heart would break for Jaden and Willow. Marriage, in my experience, takes work. A lot of work.BTW,I wanna share a good news to you.My best friend ,she just has announced her wedding with a millionaire man who is a celebrity !they met via

      • harry

        I side with “jide”

      • Will/Jada fan

jide, good comment. Lynn is such a hater. Imagine starting off your post like that, and about people you don’t even know. I can’t understand the hatred that spew from some people’s mouth for this couple, and I can only think it’s jealously. I’ve been on the IMDB board and it’s the same thing. hate, hate and more hate. What’s wrong with these people who hate so? They really don’t have a life and hate those who do.

      • jeanie

@Lucy….ummmm…maybe they should call it a gold diggers club, and if you are so pretty, you should always post a pic when you comment trying to sell your self to a rich man…I don’t think they will be sold on your intellect! lmao…but it is “worthy” a try…

    • jj

what a hateful person you are. i don’t wish you ill, but spewing negativity towards people who have done nothing to you isn’t exactly winning you any karmic rewards…

    • Amerie

Wow Lynn, jealously is just oooozing from your pores isn’t it?? :D

    • Jen

What? Why are they hateful? How can you hate the Fresh Prince?? They are a lovely couple who seem to be raising their family up right in the craziness of Hollywood. God bless them!

    • Avery

another round of haterade for lynn, bartender!

    • Sina

He should have left her as soon as she got those hideous cheek implants!

      • sarah d

She didn’t get cheek implants, she lost like 20lbs from a 5 foot nothing frame. She’s just a little gaunt. I noticed it as when the promos for Hawthorne came out. She should put some fruit in her diet.

    • brandy j

What a hateful person y would u wish divorce on sum1 shut up and stick a broom up ur butt

    • Henri M

Hateful? What the hell are you talking about? Do you know them personally?

    • pie thrower

      Yeah….they’re done.

    • Kitty

      Hateful? really…

I’ve never heard anything bad about them. They practice their craft, raise their children and mind their own business. Maybe you should do the same.

    • Jason

Huh? When have they been “hateful?” They always talk about being supportive of one another and of their kids and the danger and negativity involved in divorce. What is so hateful about that? That statement just boggles my mind. It’s not even like they’re my favorite couple or something. That statement is just so unbelievably unfounded and stupid that I’m perplexed. I’m with Kitty. Why not mind your own business? You’ve been way more hateful with that one statement than I’ve ever seen them be. That’s the pot calling the kettle black.

    • trojan man

I think LYNN could use a good dose of weiner

    • tomm

So people should break up to please nerdy, no-life trashy people?

    • August McGee

You are a hater let will and jada live their life

    • Robin

Lynn, where do you get hateful from? Do you know them personally? Have they done something hateful to you or someone else you know personally? What a dumb statement to make. There’s always “your type” of people to make comments that have absolutely no merit. Guess it takes all kinds. I just hope there is no truth to the rumor and that is remains just that, a rumor!

    • ashlee

Lynn, don’t project your misery on the Smiths. They are among the most respected, gracious, professional powers of Hollywood. Please try to get a life.

  • Michael

Its comments like yours that make People Hate America

    • wakeforce

No, it’s comments like Lynn’s that make me hate people, PERIOD! Leave America out of it!

    • Ruby

      Who says Lynn is American?

  • peaches

    • Nathan

Though the statement they made “we are together and our marriage is intact” doesn’t exactly sound like they’re madly in love does it?

      • Captain

Is it their moral obligation to fluff their statements with hearts and arrows?

    • Leon

      Lynn pleas get a life

Such a relief. Will Smith is a terrific actor and seems like a decent guy. It would be such a shame if his marriage collapsed. My heart would break for Jaden and Willow. Marriage, in my experience, takes work. A lot of work.
I think my husband taught me a lot about inner beauty and confidence in myself. I’m slim but voluptuous. I’ve got curves and a large bust but it seemed that men were more interested in my chest than my personality. My exes seemed obsessed with my cleavage. They were always going on about my breasts, and in bed they practically worshipped them, while I wished they concentrated their attention elsewhere.
My husband’s in love with the person inside of me, and the outside of me is just a bonus. I feel better—so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.

    • Krystal

      what the what?

    • Captain

Thanks for the info Lorraine. I can die happy now knowing that your biggest problem in life was that guys found you too sexy.

    • DZ

    • Nathan

      So how big are they?

      • JLJ

    • Lorraine= Keep telling yourself…….

that he loves the inside of you! That’s funny!!!

    • janine miles

    • Nonny

u hv got the right Man and the right perspective

    • GHB

Oh Lorraine…hijacking another thread with your BS. Please STFU already. Thanks

    • bootsycolumbia

Gee, Lorraine, you do realize that this discussion is about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, not your large breasts, right?

  • googie

WHO CARES! After 30 items that I have avoided I must respond and then go away! What the couple meant to say is “the corporation is still intact”.

    • Marc

“the corporation is still intact”…well said.

  • Chris

Tom Cruise told them to stay together, as the prophecy of Xanadu, God of Scientology, decreed.

  • Allie

Knew it couldn’t be true, they seem so solid.

  • Marc

Hey, I’m not hoping for a break-up here, but am I the only one surprised that the press release isn’t more emphatic about the blissful state of their marriage? I expected a more emphatic line like “We remain as happy and committed to each other as ever” or “We are baffled by the reproting of such hurtful rumors”? Just a simple “We are still together, and our marriage is intact”, huh? Maybe years of reading about celebrities on these types of sites has made me cynical, but for a couple who’s appeared on countless chat shows discussing how fabulous their marriage is, something about this makes my Spidey Senses tingle,

    • Marc

Oops…naturally, I meant “,,,the REPORTING of such hurtful rumors”.

    • jane

i agree Marc. or if there is nothing wrong why respond at all?

      • andrianna fur

well, jane, if they didn’t bother to respond then tabloids and ppl like urself would surely take that lie and run wild with it by adding extra lies to the already bogus lie. :)

      • Mary-Helen

Agreed. This doesn’t seem very positive.

      • emmasmile

Will probably doesn’t want to be associated with the TV show Hawthorne anymore. Poor guy…I am a 28 years old doctor, mature and beautiful.and now I am seeking a good man who can give me real love , so i got a username Lindasunny2002 on–a’ge’l’es’s’da’te.c óm–.it is the first and best club for y’ounger women and old’er men, or older women and y’ounger men,to int’eract with each other. Maybe you wanna ch’eck ‘it out or tell your friends!

    • lefty

I was thinking the same thing. Their marriage remains “intact.” …Hmmm.

      • wakeforce

What are they supposed to say? “We still F**kin'”?

      • lefty

        @wakeforce for starters yeah… :)

    • Fiona

And if they went on and on about how much in love they were, everyone would say, “They’re protesting too much! Why make such a big deal of it if something weren’t actually wrong?” For gossipmongers and dirty-minded people, ANYTHING is proof of bad news. Which is why they obviously didn’t bother trying to convince people like you.

    • Lou

I think it was more of a “this crap doesn’t deserve a response, but if we must….”

    • Captain

I agree. That’s what I thought too when I read it. It’s certainly not a glowing response for a couple that talks up their “stable” relationship so much.

    • Esox

Yes unfortunately I’m expecting the offical separation statement soon to follow. Sad, but where there’s unofficial smoke, there’s usually official fire.

      • etm

    • amelia in portland

It’s unfortunate the Smiths have to issue a statment in the first place but then again, we live in a celebrity obsessed world.

    • gina

In interviews they talk about working at their relationship but they don’t divulge details about their fights or anything like that. Their relationship is no one’s business. It’s sad that reputable outlets are perpetuating a rumor which is taking on a life of its own. Their statement reflects the fact they had to say something, prob for sake of kids, but realizing they don’t owe anyone what’s going on in their marriage. I wish them well.

    • Shana

Honestly? Why should they reveal to YOU or ANY of us what is “really going on” in their marriage? If they are happy or if they are struggling, it’s none of our business. Geez. Step back.

    • bootsycolumbia

I dunno…I’ve been married to the same wonderful guy for almost 21 years now, and sometimes describing our marriage as “intact” is the most we can do. All relationships have highs and lows, and maybe they’re on one of the lows right now. That doesn’t mean that they’re going to separate, just that they’re working through things. I mean, I’m only speculating, of course, but that could be what’s going on. Plus, they might have released the statement because of their younger kids. Rumors like that are hard on children, and Will and Jada have always seemed like a family first kind of couple.

  • D

Hmmm, the real split is coming. Give it a month. Its seems Jada is becoming more and more butch by the day. Maybe, it has become too much work to keep up the facade. Oh well.

    • Stevex

Vegas has set the over/under at 45 days. Place your bets, ladies and gents.

  • precious

I don’t think news like these must be entertained let us focus on more important things I’m so happy that they denied da rumours I love WILL and JADA people you should know better that media makes and breaks you I thot people where smarter thn media bt I guess not

    • pinkbunny

Don’t be afraid of punctuation; it can be your friend.

  • Jon

Why would Will and Jada give up the perfect *arrangement*?

    • Millie

Exactly. They’re married but removed the vows about fidelity from their wedding because they both want to be free to sleep with others. He’s immensely rich. So why bother breaking up when you have all the money you could ever spend and are free to sleep with anyone you want?

      • I’m curious…

How do you know they “removed the vows about fidelity from their wedding”? Were you there? Did Will or Jada confide in you?

  • Chris

Why are so many people commenting that this is the perfect couple and it can’t possibly be true? None of us know this couple and seeing them on talk shows and movies doesn’t give us any real indication of what really goes on behind closed doors.

    • Jerry Seinfeld

Nowhere has anyone said they’re perfect. Its mostly surprise after seeing this couple over 13 years dodge tabloid stories or infedility rumors, for the most part. They seemed to do it better than anyone in Hollywood these days.

      • @Jerry Seinfeld

        I hated your show!

      • Vane

        I loved it!

  • Rich

Will probably doesn’t want to be associated with the TV show Hawthorne anymore. Poor guy…
