The Office‘s Jenna Fischer, who’s expecting her first child in late September, revealed to Jay Leno last night that she and husband Lee Kirk will be having a boy. “This is the second grandchild [for my parents],” Fischer said, “but first grandson. This is exclusive, Jay… When I went to my movie premiere the other day, a reporter asked me if I knew what I was having, and I said I do, but I’m not sharing that yet because I’m [going to] have Jay be the first to know.”

Because when you want a genuine, human reaction to a special event, of course Jay Leno would be my first choice too.
Wonder if they’re going to have to write a second kid into this series for Jim and Pam to explain the pregnancy?
obviously she was preggers during this past season’s final episodes. They haven’t started shooting this season yet so she may not miss many, if any at all, episodes.
Woops…she’s EXPECTING…mashed that together in my head with Maya Rudolph’s giving birth…
Who know’s, you may be right, though she will have gone from not showing at all in the season finale to being VERY pregnant when they get around to shooting next season’s premiere. I could see her spending a lot of time on the phone at her desk, maybe even being on the other end of the telephone and off camera after she has the kid.
