Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy: Still undecided on baby's name

Two days after giving birth to a son with fiancé Matthew Bellamy, Kate Hudson and the Muse frontman are still contemplating the baby’s name, reports People. Hudson delivered the 7-lb., 12-oz. baby on Saturday night and plans to recover in Los Angeles. After that, she and her rocker hubby-to-be set down roots in London, where U.K. native Bellamy will work on Muse’s sixth studio album. This is Hudson’s second son. She delivered seven-year-old Ryder Russell Robinson while married to her ex-husband and Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.

give ‘em time. it’s hard work coming up with a name that will scar your child for life. i’m sure he’ll eventually be named something “cool” like Tomato or Dumpster or Tamale.

  • No Name

    Please name him Bill!

This is such a stupid comment, so sorry for making it, but why in the world is this news? (even for a site such as this one) Why do I always click on the links with the whole story in the title?! And why am I commenting? Why (and when) did I ever start reading the maddening “comments” parts of these “stories”?! Aagh!! Im becoming a part of all that drives (has driven?) me crazyl!! And, I really need to get a life. As do many of you, my fellow commenters on a “news brief” about kate hudson not yet naming her 2 day old son. Ugh.

@lyndsey, why do you think it’s called ENTERTAINMENT weekly, not news weekly

    • lyndsy

Hahaha!! The point is it’s not even entertainment. Celebrity news is not the same as entertainment news. And a celebrity not naming her newborn baby after just two days is not really even celebrity news. Right? I mean come on!

“She delivered seven-year-old Ryder Russell Robinson while married to her ex-husband…”

This is a really odd way to phrase this. How about something like “She also has a seven-year-old son, Ryder, with her ex-husband…” instead?

  • Wondering

Why not just name the kid “Amazing,” because I’m sure that’s all she say when she hits the Late Show/Tonight Show/Regis&Kelly to squawk about her new amazing movie?
