Mel Gibson and his wife of 31 years have officially finalized their divorce, according to Reuters. Robyn Gibson had filed for divorce in 2009, three years after the pair separated. Details of the agreement were not released, but Gibson was once thought to be worth approximately $900 million. The couple has seven children together, and Gibson has a 20-month-old daughter with former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

For one so proud of being Catholic I’m shocked the Gibson would get a divorce and not a permanent seperation. I wonder if he’ll be filing for annulment as well, thus making all 8 of his children illegitimate.
I think after 31 years of marriage and seven children, he’d have a tough time getting an annulment approved. Then again, he has his own brand of Catholicism, so you never know ($$$$).
I wonder who would give him the annulment. His offshoot of Catholicism thinks the papacy in Rome is illegitimate.

Maybe his wife wasn’t as Catholic as he was! This man is a mess. Butts and liquor have taken a toll on his appearance. He’s hard-line “church-y”, yet he’s caught on tape screaming at his girlfriend for oral sex. He’s making up this “religion” as he goes along. All this is too bad. He’s a fine actor, and a good director.
