In a statement, Womack said “the demise of our relationship was completely my fault.”

How is this news? They have not been together for months. Womack is known to have major anger problems so it makes sense that Maynard would not want him around her young daughter.

You should have looked closely on After the Final Rose. The problems were there to see. Emily was not over her lost love. If she really did love Brad, she would have packed up and move to Austin and make her daughter understand. The Emily we saw was a product of editing. Her sweet Southern belle persona became questionable when she said she had a potty mouth and a temper. So who was the real Emily? Honestly he should have picked Chantal who at least was willing to move to Texas.
This is the most shocking breakup since Hugh Hefner and his bimbo du jour from last week.

Honestly though, 3 out of 14 isn’t that bad. I bet my own personal track record is worse; I’ve been on dates with at least 14 guys and I haven’t been married yet. And besides, a relationship that doesn’t end in marriage isn’t an automatic failure. Some of the couples from the show have made it several years before breaking up, they just never married. So what?
Brad is pushing 40, needs to man up and get a woman his age. Young girls want to ‘party’ til they are 35, then suddenly realize biological clock is ticking.
Tell that to the producers who seem to cast girls too young to even understand what love really is. They get so caught up with the fantasy not the reality. No wonder this show has such a bad track record.

I agree with you. Chantal was ready to commit and was in love with Brad. But he lusted after the beautiful blonde with a sad past. So typical. And she never seemed in it after the ‘competition’ part of the show was over.
Good news for Chantal however, she is now engaged to a guy she met right after she came off the show.
Wishing Brad luck… he is a decent guy and in a way I guess he felt his own Karma after how his first season ended. It’s hard to find lasting love… no matter where it is.
At least Brad took responsibility for the breakup and didn’t trash Emily. However, he seems like a confirmed bachelor/ladies man who only has eyes for himself. All you ladies have been forwarned. If you are doing the walk of shame out of his apartment in the morning you deserve the humilitation.
