Two Manchester men made their first appearance in court Thursday after they were arrested near singer Joss Stone’s home in England, armed with maps, knives, a hammer, and a samurai sword, according to People. Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, spoke only identified themselves in an Exeter courtroom. They were not allowed bail, and will remain imprisoned until their next court date on July 1.
In a statement, Stone said, “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries.”

Uhm. British newspapers are saying it wasn’t Josh Stone specifically that they were after. These guys, or guys they’re hooked up with, have plotted to kidnap and kill others in the area. They may have already been successful in previous attempts. Mmmm, I am reminded that the Brits do serial killing in a much more twisted way. Here we just invite them over to look at our refrigeration and oversized soup vats. Remember, they’re the ones who came up with Fairy Tales about serial killers. Hansel & Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood come to mind.
