A medical examiner’s autopsy released on Thursday revealed that former pro wrestling star Randy “Macho Man” Savage died last month of heart disease, the AP reports. On May 20, the 58-year-old Savage — whose real name was Randall Poffo — lost consciousness and crashed his Jeep into a tree while driving on Route 694 in Pinellas County, Florida; he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Tampa Bay area medical examiner determined that Savage suffered from an enlarged heart and blocked coronary arteries, and that his injuries from the accident were not significant enough to have caused his death. His wife, Lynn, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Tobey Maguire’s attorney has fired back after a bankruptcy trustee sued the actor for over $300,000 in allegedly illegal poker winnings, saying Maguire is innocent of any wrongdoing. The court filings released on Thursday say that Maguire didn’t only win while playing hedge fund manager and convicted con man Bradley Ruderman, he also lost $168,500. Maguire’s attorney says that he shouldn’t owe the Ponzi investors anything, but if the actor is required to pay anything back, it should be reduced to the amount he lost in the private Texas Hold ‘em games held in various upscale Los Angeles-area hotels.
The lawyers representing Ruderman’s clients are asking for $4 million from the 22 players named in the suit, and claim that Maguire is not entitled to his winnings because they came from $5.2 million of Ruderman’s clients’ money.

Though some outlets have speculated that his condition was a result of a suicide attempt, a source tells EW that the actor more likely suffered a relapse in his sobriety. Representatives for the actor did not immediately respond to calls for comment.

Myspace changes hands after years of struggle with News Corp.
One dollar. That’s how much you’re worth to News Corp. if you still use Myspace. After six years of struggles to keep the brand viable, Rupert Murdoch and his company have sold the flailing social networking site, which still counts 35 million unique users, to online ad company Specific Media for $35 million in cash and stock, reports Reuters.
It was a major fire sale for Rupert Murdoch’s corporation, who purchased Myspace in 2005 for $580 million. The media conglomerate, which will retain a small stake of Myspace, was hoping to recoup at least some of its investment in the race between Specific, Golden Gate Capital, Austin Ventures, and Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick.
