Actor/comedian Jay Mohr and actress Nikki Cox have added a son to their family: Cox gave birth to Meredith Daniel on Thursday, according to People. Mohr, 40, and Cox, 32, wed in 2006. Mohr also has a son from his previous marriage.

Bryan Adams is new dad to baby girl
Bryan Adams has become a father for the first time, reports People. The 51-year-old Canadian rocker and Alicia Grimaldi — his personal assistant and co-founder of his foundation – welcomed daughter Mirabella Bunny on April 22. Adams is slated to resume his world tour in the Netherlands on June 6.

Zsa Zsa Gabor returns to hospital for pneumonia
Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was taken via ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday after she began having difficulty breathing, Reuters reports, and was admitted for pneumonia. Her condition was reported as serious. Gabor, 94, has been in and out of hospitals for the better part of a year after breaking her hip in July; her right leg eventually had to be amputated above the knee.

Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend drops domestic violence claim in court
Okasana Grigorieva, Mel Gibson’s former girlfriend and mother of his 18-month-old daughter Lucia, has informed the judge presiding over their child custody case that she was withdrawing her allegation that Gibson hit her during a fight at his Malibu home in 2010, a source tells the Associated Press. The Braveheart director/star, who recently spoke about his troubles, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge earlier this year as part of a plea bargain that requires him to be on probation for three years and undergo domestic violence counseling. His plea did not contain an admission of guilt.

Marie Osmond and first husband remarry in Las Vegas
Marie Osmond remarried her first husband Stephen Craig on Wednesday in a private ceremony at a Mormon temple in Las Vegas, People reports. Osmond, 51, and Craig, 54, were first wed in 1982, and divorced in 1985. They have a 28-year-old son, Stephen. ”I am so happy and look forward to sharing my life with Stephen, who is an amazing man as well as a great father to my children,” Osmond said.

Actor Henry Cavill, who will play Superman in the planned 2012 reboot of the superhero franchise, has gotten engaged to prospective Olympic athlete Ellen Whitaker, People reports. Cavill, who turns 28 on Thursday, proposed to Whitaker while in Los Angeles.

'Glee' star Naya Rivera will host the GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco
Naya Rivera, who plays closeted cheerleader Santana on Glee, will host the GLAAD Media Awards ceremony in San Francisco on May 14. Sex and the City alum Kim Cattrall will also be on hand to accept the Golden Gate Award. Additionally, guests including Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, The Kids are All Right‘s writer/director Lisa Cholodenko, and Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez are slated to attend. Mariah Carey reveals twins' names
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have revealed the names of their newborn twins and they are mmmmarvelous. Not literally, but since the couple had teased online that their children’s names began with the letter M, speculation had only increased. On Carey’s official website, the couple announced that their son’s name is Moroccan Scott Cannon and their daughter is named Monroe Cannon. Moroccan refers to the Moroccan Room in Carey’s apartment (where Cannon proposed), and Scott is Cannon’s middle name and his grandmother’s maiden name. Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe.

Yvette Vickers, B-movie beauty, presumed dead

A decomposing body found on April 27 in the Los Angeles home of actress Yvette Vickers is presumed to be the 82-year-old former B-movie starlet, but the Associated Press reports that DNA tests might be required and confirmation could take a week. She was discovered by a neighbor who noticed her mail was piling up. Police, who don’t suspect foul play, say she may have died months ago.
Vickers grew up in Kansas City, Mo., and got her first screen credit in 1950′s Sunset Boulevard. Though she also had a bit part in Hud, she became more famous for B-movies, like Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and Attack of the Giant Leeches, and posing for Playboy.

Justin Bieber, Zach Galifianakis, Steve Carell among Webby Award winners
As the road to one awards show begins, another one ends. Today, the winners of the 15th Annual Webby Awards were revealed. The list includes celebrities like Justin Bieber (People’s Voice Award for Best Comedy Video), Zach Galifianakis (Webbys for Best Web Personality/Host and Best Comedy Individual Short or Episode; Webby and People’s Voice for Best Online Variety Show), Steve Carell (Webby for Best Comedy Individual Short or Episode), and the all-star comedy team of Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Darrell Hammond for “Funny or Die’s Presidential Reunion.” The Old Spice Guy campaign also won big.
