Sarah Palin's son Track gets hitched in Alaska

People is reporting that Track Palin, the eldest son of Sarah and Todd Palin, recently married Britta Hanson, his high school sweetheart, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, roughly 15 miles north of Wasilla, Alaska. Palin, 22, and Hanson, 21, plan a larger wedding ceremony in the winter.

“Our families couldn’t be happier!” said a joint statement from both families. “These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.”

Danielle Staub seeks help after photos catch her stripping

Former star of Real Housewives of New Jersey Danielle Staub, who was photographed dancing at a strip club, told People that she’s walked away from a deal with Scores Gentleman’s Club in New York. “I have addictions with love and low self-esteem, and I need help!” Staub, 48, told the magazine. “My low self-esteem derived from childhood sexual abuse has messed with my mind and self-worth, and over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial.”

Staub, who is currently working on a new VH1 food reality show with Heidi Montag, says she’s seeking help from Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Maria Shriver hires divorce lawyer

Maria Shriver has hired a divorce lawyer to represent her during her separation from Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to People. Attorney Laura Wesser is currently advising Shriver, who split from her husband soon before news that he’d fathered a child with a member of the family’s household staff became public.

Cannes condemns Lars von Trier for Nazi remarks

Danish director Lars von Trier, whose film Melancholia wowed critics at the Cannes Film Festival but whose recent comments about Adolf Hitler drew headlines, was declared “persona non grata” in an unprecedented move by the Festival. In a statement, the Festival’s Board of Directors, said it “profoundly regrets that this forum has been used by Lars von Trier to express comments that are unacceptable, intolerable, and contrary to the ideals of humanity and generosity that preside over the very existence of the Festival.”

A Cannes spokesperson told the Associated Press that Melancholia will remain in competition, but its director would not be present to accept any prizes should it win.

On Wednesday, von Trier told reporters that he understood and sympathized a bit with Hitler before issuing an apology.

Jeff Conaway, star of 'Taxi' and 'Grease,' hospitalized following apparent overdose

Jeff Conaway, the former star of Taxi and Grease who has a history of substance abuse problems, is currently in critical condition at an Encino, Calif., hospital after a suspected overdose, reports the Los Angeles Times. The 60-year-old actor has pneumonia and remains unconscious. In 2008, Conaway appeared on two seasons of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew to get help for his addiction to cocaine, painkillers, and alcohol.

Zsa Zsa Gabor slips into coma

A rep for Zsa Zsa Gabor has confirmed to EW that the actress — who starred in films like 1982′s Moulin Rouge and 1991′s The Naked Gun 2 1/2 — has slipped into a coma. Gabor was taken to a hospital in L.A. Tuesday for emergency stomach surgery, and became unresponsive early this morning. The 94-year-old actress has suffered a series of health setbacks in the last year: She was hospitalized earlier this month for pneumonia and even saw her health affected by Elizabeth Taylor’s death. In January, Gabor’s right leg was amputated after a lesion became resistant to antibiotics, and, last fall, the actress had surgery to remove two blood clots in her upper body. Gabor’s rep had no other details at this time.

Arnold Schwarzeneggar's son changes last name on Twitter

Following Arnold Schwarzeneggar’s revelation that he had fathered a child out of wedlock with a member of his household staff, the actor and former governor’s family is commenting on the widespread news. Not only did wife Maria Shriver release a statement about her “painful and heartbreaking time” and appear during a taping of one of Oprah Winfrey’s final shows, but Schwarzeneggar’s children have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts about the scandal. Seventeen-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger tweeted Tuesday, “some days you feel like s—, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet i love my family till death do us apart. #family”. More interestingly, on Wednesday, Patrick changed his name on Twitter from Patrick Schwarzenegger to Patrick Shriver.

The actor’s 21-year-old daughter, Katherine, also touched on the news on her Twitter account: “This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as i begin to heal and move forward in life.I will always love my family!”

'The Wire' actress Snoop Pearson pleads not guilty

Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, who played a semi-autobiographic version of herself on HBO’s The Wire, pleaded not guilty to drug conspiracy charges this morning in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Sun. Pearson was arrested in March with more than 60 others and accused of running a drug dealing operation. She was released from jail last month on $50,000 bail. A court date has been set for Aug. 9.

Mike 'Situation' Sorrentino files lawsuit against father

This is a situation. Mike Sorrentino, also known as Jersey Shore‘s Situation, has filed a lawsuit against his father Frank Sorrentino, claiming the defendant is illegally using his likeness on The Confrontation, a website the elder Sorrentino set up to air videos about the reality star. In the videos, Frank claims, among other things, that the Jersey Shore star abandoned his family and was fired from a job because of inappropriate sexual behavior. In court papers obtained by EW, the younger Sorrentino is requesting unspecified damages and asking that his father discontinue using his name. Frank Sorrentino could not be reached for comment.

Report: Carla Bruni-Sarkozy pregnant

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is pregnant with her second child, People reports, citing confirmation reports from her father-in-law. Bruni, the supermodel-turned-singer-turned first lady of France, appears in Woody Allen’s latest film, Midnight in Paris.

She married French president Nicolas Sarkozy in 2008 and has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.
