People is reporting that Track Palin, the eldest son of Sarah and Todd Palin, recently married Britta Hanson, his high school sweetheart, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, roughly 15 miles north of Wasilla, Alaska. Palin, 22, and Hanson, 21, plan a larger wedding ceremony in the winter.
“Our families couldn’t be happier!” said a joint statement from both families. “These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.”

Midweek wedding? Bride not even wearing a gown? The Palin family track record? Sounds like an unplanned pregnancy shotgun wedding to me!
It didn’t say that they got married today, it said recently. As in any time in the near past. Ugh don’t be such a conspiracist.
