Sarah Palin's son Track gets hitched in Alaska

People is reporting that Track Palin, the eldest son of Sarah and Todd Palin, recently married Britta Hanson, his high school sweetheart, in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, roughly 15 miles north of Wasilla, Alaska. Palin, 22, and Hanson, 21, plan a larger wedding ceremony in the winter.

“Our families couldn’t be happier!” said a joint statement from both families. “These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.”

    Worst name ever.

Midweek wedding? Bride not even wearing a gown? The Palin family track record? Sounds like an unplanned pregnancy shotgun wedding to me!

    • Sash

It didn’t say that they got married today, it said recently. As in any time in the near past. Ugh don’t be such a conspiracist.

If it looks like a duck…

  • Yeah

Something ain’t right—you know Queen P would have milked this for all the press she could get, unless someone was about to pop. I guess we’ll be seeing Baby Sin show up in about a month or two.

    • Zeba

Shotgun wedding indeed. I agree that Head Palin In Charge would be milking this for all the press she can get. Ralphie’s right-not even any kind of dress, something’s up here. Grandbaby number two or possibly number three (depending on what you believe) is on the way.

      • Ralphie

Ooh! Someone else believes in the Bristol-was-pregnant-before-and-Palin-passed-off-the-baby-as-hers theory!

        Totally grandbaby #3!

Ok so wait.. I’m confused isn’t Sarah preggers again? I read something about a baby bump recently. Maybe they were just referring to the size of her brain?

      • Ralphie

Not unless she’s trying to cover for Willow this time…

Expert advice. Many small buensssies are unaware that in the UK new government legislation means they can take advantage of relevent life policy insurance’ and the tax benefits allowed.

This is not an Entertainment story.

    • Yeah

I’m thinking more like “Saw” or “Mousepad” or “Election.”

        Oh you genius you. hehehehehehehehehehe

  • jodipo

    why is this on EW?

    • Realangst

Que Sera Sera is a song. Sarah Palin cannot sing so she does reality shows where she shoots things that can do things she can’t. So singing and reality TV. Oh yeah, thats entertianment (thus her inclusion here). Or maybe they think she’s bucking to take Foxworthy’s place on the redneck comedy circuit. She is pretty funny, espeecially when she’s on SNL!

  • couchgrouch

her next eldest song, Captain Tripps,. is engaged to a mooseskinner’s daughter named Filter. nuptials in early June in the chapel catty-corner to the meth lab on Gotcha St.

    • couchgrouch

      “son”.

    • JK

Captain Tripps? A nod to The Stand?

  • Voice of Reason

This is NOT news. Quit giving legitimacy to this train wreck of a family.

  • John Schow

She must be pregnant just like Sarah was when she married Todd. Little sis (Bristol) wasn’t able to find a husband. These predicaments seem to be prevalent in hillbilly families.

  • Lauren

Dear her kids never had a chance. Track? Really, that’s a sport, not a name.

  • Ma’at

    Track? Really? Oh well.

  • Jackie D

How the hell is this entertainment related?

    • Jack

      It’s pretty entertaining.

  • jb

And this has WHAT to do with entertainment?
