Leonardo DiCaprio and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Bar Refaeli have broken up, according to People. The couple had dated since 2006 — minus a six-month break in 2009. DiCaprio just competed filming his biopic of FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover with director Clint Eastwood and is slated to play the titular character in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, set for Australia.

I never understood his appeal. He tackles roles that he’s too young for. He tries to look older for said parts by growing some insufficient facial hair and working out and just comes across as a pudgy goof. I think he’s a very capable actor but severely overrated.

Bar Refaeli is incredibly gorgeous. I love her. She’s really beautiful and a really sweet girl. Israeli perfection doesn’t get much purer than her.
