Sixty-eight-year-old Judy Sheindlin — otherwise known as tough-talking Judge Judy — has left the hospital after an overnight stay, the Associated Press reports. The daytime TV staple was taken to Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after her show taped on Wednesday, though she has not revealed what prompted the visit. Clearly, whatever happened hasn’t dulled the Judge’s sharp tongue — Sheindlin, who will begin taping her show again on April 12 as previously scheduled, had this to say to concerned viewers: “See you in court. Be on time.”

5 Browns dad sentenced for sexual abuse
Keith S. Brown, the father and one-time manager of the 5 Browns classical music group, was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison by a Fourth District judge in Provo, Utah, one month after admitting that he sexually abused three of his piano-playing daughters. “I do believe, sir, that you are a pedophile,” Judge David Mortensen said, according to the Associated Press, “and I do believe that you are a danger to society.”
Brown had managed the group, whose albums have topped the classical music charts, until 2008. According to court documents, the sexual assaults took place between 1990 and 1998. The three daughters, who are now in their twenties and early thirties, are on tour and did not attend Thursday’s proceedings. But Deputy Utah County Attorney David Sturgill said, “To say whether 10 years, 15, 20 years in jail or prison is enough for [what] he’s done, I don’t know. Whether it’s good or bad, he has changed the course of their lives, and I don’t know if there’s any price he could possibly pay that would make up for that.”

Elizabeth Banks is mom to baby boy
Nearly two months after her character Avery Jessup welcomed a (Canadian) baby with Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) on 30 Rock, Elizabeth Banks and husband Max Handelman are officially parents of a baby boy. According to Banks’ website, the couple welcomed baby Felix — who was born via a surrogate — into their family. Banks Tweeted the news on Wednesday: “What’s greater than overjoyed? Megajoyed? Add humility, love, awe. Sprinkle w cute. Result: my new life as a mom. It’s a boy!”
On her website, Banks wrote about her failed efforts to conceive a child. “The one true hurdle I’ve faced in life is that I have a broken belly,” she wrote. “After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a ‘baby cake’ and bake it into another woman’s ‘oven.’”
Banks also writes about the woman who carried her child: “From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity. And the second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman. Felix means ‘happy’ and ‘lucky’ in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing in our life … If you need me, I’ll be changing dirty diapers and trying to get some sleep.”

Judith Sheindlin, TV’s Judge Judy, was taken to the hospital today after complaining of intestinal discomfort. She later called TMZ from her room at Cedars-Sinai Medical center in Los Angeles, and said she was “just exhausted.” Doctors gave the 68-year-old an MRI and are planning a few more tests before they hope to release her tomorrow. “I’m really fine. I wanted to go back to work this afternoon,” she told the website. “I’m exhausted. I’m just tired. A lot of things just zoned together, including the bad news of the world.”
Lily Allen's wedding date, invitation leaked
“Smile” singer Lily Allen isn’t grinning today. That’s because someone she invited to her upcoming wedding leaked his or her invitation to the British press, revealing that the ceremony will be held June 11 in Gloucestershire, England. According to People, the invitation itself is predictably quirky, featuring an image that superimposes the heads of Allen and her fiancé, decorator and business owner Sam Cooper, onto a picture of a dowdy couple riding a tractor. When she became aware of the leak, Allen took to her Twitter page to blast the sneaky invitee: “Oh and whoever leaked my wedding invite to the press, you’re a d— and your not invited anymore, have some respect and stay at home.”
Lindsay Lohan escapes criminal battery charges
Lindsay Lohan can cross one legal hurdle off her list: The Riverside District Attorney’s Office confirms to EW that they will not be pressing charges against Lohan in her alleged altercation with a Betty Ford Center staffer. According to the District Attorney’s Office, there was not enough sufficient evidence to charge the actress with criminal battery. (The Palm Desert Police Department told EW in December that Lohan was a suspect.) Following the incident, the California Department of Public Health decided to conduct an investigation of the Betty Ford Center; Lohan’s accuser was fired from the rehabilitation facility after speaking publicly with TMZ about the fight.
Lohan is currently facing felony grand theft charges after being accused of stealing a necklace from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store. Lohan has maintained her innocence. Her next court date is scheduled for April 22.

Silvio Berlusconi calls George Clooney to testify on his behalf; Clooney responds
The impending prostitution trial of embattled Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has taken a new curious turn, as Berlusconi’s defense lawyers have officially named George Clooney as a witness. According to the Associated Press, the 17-year-old Moroccan teenager at the center of the trial — whom the 74-year-old Prime Minister is alleged to have paid for sex – claims to have met Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis at one of the Prime Minister’s parties. Attorney Piersilvio Cipollotti said that the defense wants “to see if they confirm this fact or not.” In a statement released to EW, Clooney responds: “It seems odd since I’ve only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur.”
