Two-time Academy Award winner Elizabeth Taylor, who was admitted to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Feb. 11 to get treatment for congestive heart failure, is staying in the hospital for now, Reuters reports. In a statement released Wednesday, her representative assured that the 78-year-old actress’ doctors “continue to be encouraged by her progress. She will stay in the hospital for now, so they can continue to observe her. She is in good spirits and continues to feel stronger every day.” The rep later clarified to EW that Taylor “has not had a heart attack, a stroke, or any kind of heart surgery.” In 2009, Taylor underwent surgery to replace a leaky heart valve.
