2nd Chance? Please!
Try 18th chance or 20th….
People do not know the truth about this pampered little baby.
He abuses himself, his family and the public and then crawls back symathetic and “Genuine” asking for forgiveness.
This is the classic immature baby approach to saying, ‘Oh, I know I done wrong…(Again and again) but please give me another chance…’
What most do not know, or turn their backs on is the past twenty-five years he has been in and out of trouble with the law.
Some examples:
In 2001 he was arrested for cocaine possession and was given probation.
In 2006 he was arrested again for possession of a controlled substance and was once again given probation.
In 2007 he was arrested in a domestic dispute and was held without bail. The charges were later dropped. Later that year he was arrested yet again and charged with cocaine possession and given probation again: however, he was once again arrested in 2008 for possession of crack and drug paraphernalia, breaking the terms of his probation. For this violation he was immediately sentenced to two years in federal prison in California.
He did go to classes, attempted rehab for the public eye to see and the legal system to see, He even proclaimed himself a born-again Christian.
He was released from prison in October 2009.
Then comes the Album 2nd Chance.
He can’t count!
He’s had so many chances that second chance is a lie. The same lie he tells his fans when he says he is a born again Christian, the same lie he tells us he has been rehabilitated.
Oh, by the way, he’s back in Rehab…..surprise surprise….
Had anyone else who was not famous done the things he has, they’d be locked up FOR YEARS…..and the rest of us would be happy they are off our streets.
Why is he different?
He has a golden voice and I love listening to it, it makes me believe love is real and true, but knowing he has abused us so much, it sounds bitter now.
Most can’t handle the truth.
He’s a user and abuser and I stopped being a fan the second I heard this announcement. (I had tickets to the show)
Dear Humble One,
Nothing in that tyrade sounded humble or even somewhat sympathetic. He deserves as many chances as he can get. He may need to hit rock bottom a million times but as long as he keeps getting up and trying to make himself something different, that’s what counts! We all need forgiveness, even you. Are you telling me that you’ve never made the same mistake more than once? God forgives a repentful heart and only He knows what is in El’s heart and has the right to judge. I’m wondering who did you wrong in your life to make you so bitter towards this talented man? Maybe you should learn to forgive them, yourself and anyone else who makes mistakes. You’r life could have much more peace!

Debarge, I have always loved you from the moment I saw you singing with your family in the early 80′s. Since your comeback, I have been praying for you without ceasing. Sobriety can be a monster but not too big for God. Keep the faith. I am proud of the fact that you saw a need to go back to rehab rather than overdose. You have too much talent to throw away on drugs. Will always love you in Maryland.

see, Bruno Mars is repeating this as well..I really hope Bruno does not waste his talent on drugs like El..El has so much potential and never reached it…I really hope Bruno is serious about staying off drugs because we all know where he may be headed if he really is an addict…Bruno got a slap on the wrist, but the truth will come out if he is still using coke…

To my friend El! Just know God is still in control of the situation you are going through. See my friend you have FAVOR over your life and Enemy (Satan) has no control over you! He’s trying to do his best to destroy you with drugs, however you are called from your Mother’s Womb to write, produce and sign music to be a blessing to people all over the world. Satan knows this, so he have tried to just destroy you, however God’s hands are still on you! It’s like a halo is over your head everywhere you go! God is right there with you. Please stay on your knees and pray for God’s deliverance to come upon you and just know, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. I love you El and I’m here as a friend and support of you and your music! I’ll always be here for you!
