Two safety violations have been issued by the New York State Department of Labor to Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark after several accidents last year during rehearsals resulted in various injuries, the New York Times reports.
Show producers must continue to follow strict safety regulations set in December and will face unannounced inspections.

Damn it! I was going to say, “More like SPIDERMAN: TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! Am I right?” but you beat me to the punch. Oh well.
How about this one? They’ve made a musical about the Wallcrawler, but from what I’ve been hearing, it’s more like the Wallfaller. Boo-yah! Thanks. I’ll be here all week. Try the veal.
I expect their spokesman will return with an official statement that says that this, too, is “TOTALLY UNCOOL!”

This show is not going to last long…
Someone who issues safety violations for the whole show, as some inspectors have done, is a crap inspector.
Last week was not a good one for the show. Besides the violations, the critics (who got fed up with the show’s extended preview schedule) went ahead and reviewed the show…and the notices were not good.
