Lindsay Lohan is under investigation for alleged jewelry theft, the Associated Press reports. According to police, a necklace valued at $2,500 was reported stolen in late January from a store in Venice, Calif., nearby Lohan’s currently place of residence. (The jewelry was taken shortly after Lohan was released from court-ordered rehab.) The necklace was returned to authorities after a search of Lohan’s residence; no additional details are known at this time. Lohan’s lawyer has not returned EW’s calls for comment.

Gosh, I know that reading these type of comments will make me roll my eyes, but to compare a thief to a child molester????? And though I do not defend Lohan, the reality is that any of us thrown into stardom, fame and money at a young age, would have a difficult time dealing with it….. until you walk on those shoes, you know nothing.
