Padma Lakshmi pulled back into custody battle

Tags: , TV

Top Chef‘s Padma Lakshmi is facing another custody battle over her daughter, Krishna Thea. The 11-month-old’s father, venture capitalist Adam Dell, has filed court papers in New York City seeking sole custody of his child, according to People. “There was no desire for publicity and Adam regrets that there is some,” his lawyer, Bill Zabel, of Manhattan law firm Schulte, Roth & Zabel, told the magazine. “But [he] can’t help it given that he was forced to go to court to assert his rights as a father.”

Don’t fret, Padma. You can always take custody of my gonads!

    It’s Padma not Padme

Sole custody? He should have a good reason for that or is just hoping to compromise at some point.

I read elsewhere that NY doesn’t allow petitioning for joint custody so his only option for changing their arrangement was to file this way. The other article contains the attorney’s full statement that Dell is just looking for more time since he only gets to see his daughter for hours at a time.

Padma, she’s keep marrying all these losers.
Other than being jerks, all her husbands are gazillionaries.
    Padma likes money.
    Clouds her judgment.
She’d rather eat at Taco Bell the rest of her life, than marry anyone who doesn’t have less than $400 million net worth.

That’s what you get for having kids with random baby daddies.

Amen! As a woman, I’m disgusted that women like her go out and get pregnant then decided the father has no place in the child’s life. Even refusing child support from him isn’t enough to keep him from his child. If she wanted a baby she had sole control over she should have used a sperm donor.

I would have volunteered to donate that sperm in a heartbeat! She can keep whatever pops out…
