Conrad Murray back in court for Jackson arraignment

Tags:

Dr. Conrad Murray — who faces an involuntary manslaughter charge connected to Michael Jackson’s death — is being arraigned at the Los Angeles Superior Court. He will likely plead not guilty to the charge; a date for a trial has not yet been set. UPDATE: Murray has indeed pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter. His trial is now set for March 28.

Earlier this year, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney David Walgren ruled that there was enough evidence to send the case against Murray to trial. “Michael is not with us today because of an utterly inept, incompetent, reckless doctor, the defendant Conrad Murray,” Walgren had said. Prosecutors accused Murray of giving the pop star a lethal dose of propofol prior to his death in June 2009; Murray’s lawyers have suggested that Jackson may have poured the drug into a drink when the doctor was not present.

From the L.A. Daily News today:” Attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr., who represented Jackson in his child molestation trial six years ago, said of Murray: “I can’t be objective in this case. While I respect that defense lawyers have to do their job, I firmly believe he’s guilty.” EXACTLY….

Great article. I can¡¯t wait to hear more about your research tool. If it is as good as your other products, then you will have another winner. Your article pretty much summed up what I have been seeing too. Great to see some hard data.
