Soap and reality star Antonio Sabato Jr. is expecting a child with his girlfriend, singer Cheryl Moana, People reports. The pair plans to name the child, a son, Antonio Sabato III. They also have chosen two middle names: Harvey and Kamakanaalohamaikalani, which means “a beloved gift from the heavens.” This will be the third child for Sabato, who has a 16-year-old son with Virginia Madsen and a 7-year-old daughter with Kristin Rossetti.

Technically, I think that for a child to be a II or III, etc., he would have to have the same full name, including middle names. I could be wrong, but I guess people can call their kids whatever they want. I guess the III part of the name is the least of the kid’s problems, with Harvey and Kamakanaalohamaikalani as middle names.
I agree. I thought the same had to be the same…no extra names added in.
Also, technically if the name is identical, then the child is a “Jr.” The Roman numerals (II, III, etc.) are reserved for when the child is a grandson or nephew (or some “great” thereof) of the original namesake. As an example, if “John A. Smith” names his son after himself, the son should be called “John A. Smith Jr.” Then if the son names his own son after the grandfather, the granson should be called “John A. Smith II.”
So, apparently he didn’t find his true love among the women on his reality show, “My Antonio”.
