Shania Twain to remarry

Two years after divorcing her husband of 14 years, Robert “Mutt” Lange, Shania Twain is trying her hand at marriage once again. A rep for Twain confirmed to People that the singer is engaged to Frédéric Thiébaud, a Swiss executive. The couple began dating shortly after Twain’s well-publicized divorce; Thiébaud split with his wife, Marie-Anne, after it was rumored she had an affair with Lange.

    WHY do celebrities bother to get married? I mean, other than mentions on EW, covers on People and US and lots of ink in the sleazy rags, is it really for true love?? Or…maybe just for the publicity that the engagement, marriage and eventual divorce get them??

      Some do it to hide their sexuality, make them appear more likeable and stable and some actually do it becasue they are in love. Go figure.
