Wow, this is really sad. I’m only nineteen years old, but I very much enjoyed his earlier movies. Airplane! is still one of the movies that makes me laugh the most. He really will be missed. RIP
Farewell to a true comic master, a real underrated talent and a great guy who always made you laugh. RIP Leslie.
I agree!! He’s too funny…..:)
You know, I think he actually was having fun while he made us laugh. He sure had a way of delivering lines.
Just sad…….
Funny, funny, funny man.
Life ain’t so funny now that you’re dead is it?
Iam so sad…Goodbye Frank Drebbin.
There goes another brave Canadian man. RIP
The world is a bit sadder today! Some of my gut hurting laughter were caused by his genius, RIP!
So sad to hear this. RIP, and thank you for the laughs.
You know, his best under-the-radar work was as Blanche Deveroux’s Uncle on the final two episodes of The Golden Girls. Those final two episodes are THE two best episodes in the show’s seven seasons, and he made them that way. RIP.
I was hoping someone would mention this guest stint! He was the perfect match for Bea’s Dorothy!
R.I.P. Leslie you were truly one of my favorites, you will be missed.
He was a great actor and always seemed like a nice man who was not at all impressed with himself. One of the funniest SNL sketches I’ve ever seen was with him.
The Best … deadpan laugher is a true dying art.. this man is the master.. not too many like him.. too much CGI are in too many movies.
*pops in Airplane! DVD*
RIP, sir.
RIP
He will be missed.
