A couple years ago I would have said that, but he’s not aging well – And he’s not even in his 30s yet! :-/

He might not be the best looking person in the world but he is a prince and on top of that he’s 2nd in line to the crown. So I’d still say she’s lucky. Plus from his TV appearances he seems like a nice guy.

Yeah, because if any family has a history of happy, healthy marriages, it’s this one!

    • wino

he’s the lucky one, to have a girl that beautiful and smart put up with his shyt for 8 years. hope he has learned from his father’s mistakes.

Isn’t Albert of Monaco getting married during the summer of 2011 too?

    • Mitch

Is that Prince Albert in a can?
      -Oh, I’m old.

  • Henry

Great. Another huge distraction for America.

  • Rolo Tomasi

    Who cares.

    • Ian

You mean besides the dumbass who decided to click a link to the story, read it, and then enter his name and e-mail address just so he could say “Who cares.”, while forgetting to use a question mark as proper punctuation would dictate? No idea…

      • Rolo Tomasi

It wasn’t a question, it was a statement, and you know what, you don’t have to read the story in order to comment. Learn the concept of feedback. It’s not always positive

      • Rolo Tomasi

Also, when I hit Add your comment or reply, guess what, my name and e-mail address are already in their respective boxes.

      • Ian

Yet you still took the time to click the story and comment on it, dumbass. You can rationalize it all you want, “who cares” is still a question, lol. Just like the “guess what” in the middle of your sentence is above. Doh!. Maybe if you cared as much about learning to speak English as you obviously do about British royalty, you wouldn’t make those mistakes…

  • Colleen

Kudos to them for keeping it under wraps and private. That’s the last bit of privacy they will probably ever have.

  • Keith

    Neat!

  • Lizzy

Now I feel old. I vividly remember watching his mom get married when I was 8 years old!

  • Suze

She needs to have her head examined. I wish them the best, but it’s going to be very, very difficult for her.

    • chris

I’d gladly trade places with her. I guess I need my head examined too along with millions of other people who would jump at the chance to be with him.

  • Kim Girard

So like, is she going to be like Princess Diana now?

  • Monty

Does the world really need a King or Queen in England anymore?

    • Mitch

Did the world ever need a King or Queen? Okay, maybe back in 1272–but since then?

    • Clete

Interesting. According to some estimates I have read, something like 25% of the English people feel that the monarchy no longer has a useful purpose and should be abolished. My personnel feeling is that the English monarchy should have been abolished after the Second World War with the death of Elizabeth’s father, George. The English taxpayer could no longer support a monarchy that had only ceremonial duties and paid no taxes on their income.

so ian, someone is a dumbass for not caring? i don’t care, and i prefer prince harry anyway

    • jj11

No, you are a dumbass for the way you type. Not because you prefer Harry.

  • Del Taco

Thank god Kate is good looking. For centuries, the royal Brits only married dogs. Kate is smoking hot. Until she cuts her hair, ala Emma Watson, and then her looks will go downhill. William you’re the king of England, make it a royal edict, my wife can’t cut her hair, or the marriage is annulled.

  • Jen

I was surprised to read that they’re already living together. I guess she won’t have to undergo that standard gynocological exam to prove she’s a virgin (and fertile).

    • Kat

Sigh. I don’t want to seem rude, but people can live together without having sex, you know. I lived with my fiance for the better part of two years during our engagement, and despite sharing our bills, food, and living space….we didn’t do *that*. I certainly don’t care what other people do in their homes so I don’t mean this as some sort of defense of these people’s “purity” or whatever…but I really, really hate the assumption everyone makes when you choose to live with someone. (I got some unpleasant judgment directed at me for living with my fiance, and I’m still irritated by it.)

luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy b i t c h indeed! i remember when his mom died he was dignity personified i wanted to hug him so much , then i wanted to marry him i’m only 3yrs older lol, sure he’s loosing his hair, but he’s still a bonafide prince and future king, now if his father would only abdicate so that hag of a wife of his never gets to be queen , would be best news after this engagement! lol lol
best of luck to both and may u be very happy together!
