My wife & I watched the performance on Glee this week and cracked up quite hard at it. We’re definitely not homophobes, but just the way it was sung and performed really gave us something to laugh hard at. It was quite entertaining, though.
Hmmm? I struggle w/where I stand (politically) when it comes to homosexuality.
BUT, this episode made me think/re-evaluate my feelings. I FELT Kurt’s every emotion when he heard the song. I was able to put myself in his shoes. I almost cried when I saw how safe and good he felt about who he IS.
I’ve felt what he felt and I’m not gay. Why not wish the best for those who are different?
I really didn’t see what there was to laugh about…the first person you see and feel comfortable with/attracted to? Universal feeling.

How awesome is that!! I mean this is Darren Criss’s debut and it becomes the best-selling track in Glee history and it has none of the other Glee members in the track. It goes to show that it’s all about the song but I’d like to think it’s all about Darren Criss cause he’s totally awesome as Blaine and he was totally awesome as Harry Potter in a very potter musical.. woohoo.. so happy for his success
I signed my son up for tee ball and revieced a confirmation that stated the following: How is that we will hear from our coach mid march when our confirmation states that practice begins March 10. Are the younger kids on a different schedule then the older kids? Teams are formed by March 1. Practice will begin on Saturday, March 10. Expect one weeknight and one weekend practice during the preseason. Games begin on Saturday, April 14, with an Opening Ceremony on Sunday, April 15. Expect a weeknight practice and a Saturday morning game during the season. Games end on or around June 15. Full schedules will be available online by mid-March.At this level, we encourage parents to coach teams comprised of their child’s friends and classmates. Please invite your friends to play on your Little League team, and consider stepping up to be a head coach!

I just think this reflects very well for Darren Kriss. Now that I know there was a true a capella group backing him maybe they will also share in the glory. Maybe this will be a way for Rockapella to come back as well! (group in the mid 90′s who sang rock songs a capella style).

I think the Glee songs that work the best are the ones that are remixed to be song by a choir, not the ones where they just try to replicate the exact way the song sounds on the radio. This is a great example of that.
Am I the only person who thinks it’s odd to hear a guy sing “put your hands on me in my skintight jeans?” Other than that, it sounds good.
Kinda interesting that the most downloaded song of the show is one that’s not even preformed by the main cast. Hmm.

OMG YES!!!=)My hubby and I were just talking about this being one of the best nubmres this season. He likes it better then the original.Now is it just me or is this season majorly lacking in comparison to last season. The stroylines, mashups, song selections, etc was way better, imo! oh and Rachel doesnt look like herself with bangs…. plus, she looks thinner. LOL. Mini rant here. I am still a HUGE fan but I wish it still had the same ompf as last.=) Great post!!
