I know of someone who lost a child the same way. A full term beautiful baby. Luckily the doctors found the problem in time and the mother was ok, but the loss was just terrible. She done everything right and couldn’t wait for the child and then. . . I also know of women who have lost almost full term babies. Something just goes terribly wrong. I’ve lost a baby at age 2 months and done nothing wrong. It nearly killed me!! I thought the pain would never subside. Lilly needs compassion right now not judgement. For all the people that have lost children, please hang in there. It WILL get better. My thoughts are with you.

Septicaemia can affect anyone and is very serious. I believe it was last year a model (cannot remember where she was from) died from septicaemia because she went into septic shock. She was getting constant UTIs and could not understand why, went to many doctors and unfortunately for her, it was too late. I wish Lily Allen all the best because this is no joke.

Yes, she had her hands and feet amputated before she died. Thank God the doctors treated Lily just in time.

I’m sending out my sympathy and positive thoughts to Lily and her whole family. These personal tragedies, while may or may not be undeserved, will only make you a stronger human being and give you strength and courage to keep in pursuit of starting your family! Also, there’s always adoption (I myself am adopted), just sayin :D

I’m 23 and I really never thought that people were this mean, sheesh.

  • Michelle

I really hope some of you are just confusing Lily Allen with Amy Winehouse
Best wishes to Lily and her family

Michelle…. I was thinking the exact same thing. Not that those horrible comments would be made any better, but I thought people could be confusing Lily with Winehouse, too.

    • Michelle

yeah I didn’t think Lily was known for doing massive amounts of drugs and whatnot, and you’re right those comments are still un-called for, I was just trying to figure out were all the hate was coming from.

I enjoy reading EW’s message boards, but I’m appalled by some of these comments. The poor woman just had a second miscarriage, people! Try to imagine if it was someone you know–wife, friend, sister–and show some compassion. I wish Lily Allen all the best. I can’t imagine what she must be going through.
