Former American Idol contestant Chris Sligh welcomed his first child with his wife, Sarah, on Sunday. People reports Keira Lennon Sligh was born in a Nashville-area hospital, and her middle name is inspired by the Beatles.

Perhaps they should have given some idea of where his career is now; singing in a band? writing music?, pushing pencils?
