I wish I could’ve gotten into Bored to Death. I tried so hard.
Eastbound and Down was funny last year. This year, not so much.
Bored to Death is quirky greatness. Eastbound and Down has the bigger laughs, but I have to say it’s starting to grate on me a bit.
Second season of the “Bored To Death” is a lot better than the first one. First one had its moments, but was little bit too slow most of the time. All the episodes of these season have been greatness.
Agreed. Both my wife and I feel this season has been MUCH better–and we enjoyed the first one already.
East bound has gone down hill quick with a few exceptions here and there. Not nearly as good as the first season.
Yeah they ain’t Glee that’s for sure! At least the writer only gave these non Glee shows a really short article.
Series renewals don’t usually warrant much text other than, “Series renewed.” Now go back to your stupid, bubble-headed, uber-homo sing-a-palooza before what little brain matter you have starts oozing out your nose. We wouldn’t want you in a coma before next week’s big gay chorus adventure hits the airwaves… Glee?! Give me a break! Everything that’s wrong with America, packed into a neat and tidy half hour of weekly stupidity for the masses to devour. Keep on choking it down, Tracy…
way to not pick up on the sarcasm there, steevo
Umm…its a tidy HOUR of weekly stupidity….
Tracy Bluth is my friend!
Glee!!!!! Are you comparing Glee with Bored to Death!
Okay, people, you’re obviously not getting the joke.
Bored to Death is a fantastic show. One of the real treats of the year. To even mention it in the same breath as Glee is an affront to common decency.
But don’t you know? There must be a Glee connection in each and every article here on GleEW.com.
Eastbound isn’t as funny as the first season except for the episode the other night with Don Johnson as Kenny Powers’ father. Really funny. Glad it’s coming back, and hopefully the show moves back to North Carolina. I thought the Mexico stuff would only last for a couple of episodes.
Bored to Death is one of those shows I keep meaning to watch but for whatever reason never get around to it.
Spectacular news! I adore Bored to Death–hilarious writing, terrific offbeat tone, rich and lovable characters. Thank goodness it’s on HBO where stuff like this can actually thrive!
Great news, I love Bored to Death, Ted Danson is hilarious.
Yeah, TD has NEVER been better than on this show.
You people are retarded if you don’t think East Bound is the funniest show ever.
I just discovered “Eastbound” this season and think it’s halarious! If people are disappointed…I definetly want to check out season 1. Is it on DVD yet?
Eastbound and Down is still a funny f****** show. “There’s no I in team, but there’s a ‘u’ in c**t” is one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard. And the last episode was one of the best of the entire series. I love Kenny f****** Powers!
Love “Bored to Death”. “Eastbound and Down”…not so much.
Great news. Bored to Death is my favorite show, next to Mad Men. I haven’t kept up with Eastbound this year.
I love Bored to Death. It’s one show that makes me laugh out loud. I found Eastbound and Down too tacky for my taste. Different strokes for different folks Mia.
The first Eastbound episode this season was weak but the rest have been excellent.
Interesting that both were announced at the same time, because I felt that the first season of Eastbound and Down was one of the funniest things ever and it’s quality has been awful this season. Kenny Powers may be the man, but they grossly underestimated the contributions of the other cast members by moving the show to Mexico this season. I have no doubt that the show will return to form in the 3rd season though.
Bored to Death didn’t do much for me it’s first year, but I have absolutely loved the 2nd season, especially the episode that put John Hodgman in peril. He’s awesome.
I’m Kenny Powers! And I am very upset with how I am acting right now! I just have a very hard time expressing my emotions, and I can’t stop from yelling!
Or turning my good show into crap
