NBC to develop Jamie Foxx's mafia drama

Filed under: News, TV and tagged: ,

The Peacock Network is developing a mafia-themed drama from actor Jamie Foxx, according to reports. The project, titled Tommy’s Little Girl, tells the story of an attorney-slash-assassin who avenges her family’s death many years after they were killed by a rival mafia family. Deadline reports that the trailer for the project, which was shot this summer, starred Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino and James Russo, but there are currently no deals in place.

This is Foxx’s second project currently in development. Back in September, Fox ordered a half-hour sketch comedy from the actor for the 2010-11 season.
