The L.A. Times talked to Matthew Wilder, the director of Inferno, the Linda Lovelace biopic that Lindsay Lohan is set to star in. Lohan was just ordered by an L.A. court to remain at the Betty Ford rehab center until Jan. 3. Wilder said the two had discussed casting of the film and that he still plans to start filming in Los Angeles after Lohan’s release in January. He hopes to have shooting completed before her next court date on Feb. 25. He said, “The corollary to all of this is that when you have stuff like this going on, it makes you want to dive into work more, rather than wallowing in the bad.”

Phew!! For a minute I was concerned she wasn’t going to put out another Oscar-caliber film. You know, because she’s so talented and has diverse, high-quality body of cinematic work.

It’s hilarious…how’s this director going to feel when he waits all this time for her and then the movie BOMBS?? It’s so obvious he thinks he can use all this media attention to his advantage. Thing is, he doesn’t grasp the fact that Lohan is not a draw anymore, plus, if she does a crappy film like this first thing out of rehab, she will NEVER get her career back.
It doesn’t surprise me. As it is, this movie doesn’t sound like anything that’s gonna draw viewers in, so I’m sure he’s mainly counting on making money from people wanting to see Lindsay get naked. Replace her with some unknown and what crowd is the film gonna attract then?
does lindsey lohan really think this movie is going to get her career going? nobody’s gonna want to watch this except for pervs. this guy sounds like just another a*hole trying to exploit her and she’s too stupid to realize it.
I’ve actually heard Lohan, despite playing a porn star, will not be revealing much in the film. Of course she will act like she’s having sex and giving BJs, but not much will be shown.

Hate to recap, but: Freaky Everyday… The Rehab Trap… Vicodin: Fully Loaded… those titles made me LOL. I needed that.
I can see Matthew Wilder now talking with the investors and studio, “Yes, I said we need to stall production until January when the STAR gets out of rehab. You won’t be sorry!”

How does he expect to complete a film between January 3 and February 25? That’s very fast.
It’s too sad that this guy wants to cash in on LL’s troubles, and will wait around till she gets out of rehab so she can come to a set and do disgusting things on film, where she will probably need to self-medicate to get through them. The whole Hollywood community should get together and ban her until she proves herself to be a drug-free, responsible, grown-up.
