that JLo reference — was a MOVIE, not a series.
It says “Jennifer Lopez-starring film.”
it said, SERIES before they read my comment and fixed it — GOOF!
What is sad is that they actually knew it was a J-Lo film…hahahaha, I thought she was not allowed to film anymore after Gigily
You’re all idiots. The rules state “…and stay on subject.” Is a typo really the only thing that concerns you about this man’s death. Bad, bad form.
Well you must feel really important!
LOL
Try repeating reading class so you may comprehend what you read.
The article stated Jennifer Lopez- starring FILM not SERIES.
Friggin’ duh!
Twitter-Entertainment2u you are a dumb ass!
Good riddance to One-Termer worshipping filth.
First, wow I hope that you are just being a troll, and not sincere in your words. Calling a man, any man, filth for supporting Obama is what is wrong with the far right these days and wrong in general. I am conservative, but wow. Second, Mr. Bosley will be missed. I need to watch some old Happy Days episodes soon.
That not nice.
The Republicans have nothing better to offer since you attempted to make this political. Show some respect to Mr. Bosley. Perhaps someday you may want someone, anyone, to show you some of the same.
And what did that stupid comment have to do with the death of a good actor? All I can think of is troll, jerk, moron and teabager
Good actor? Please. He was nothing more than a mouth piece for the illegal criminal Muslin One-Termer FILTH! Facts people. Facts. They’re real. Get used to it. We have already won November and we have already won 2012! HAH! That’s the last laugh! HAH! Oh, and HAH that a 5th rate actor croaked.
You, Sir, are brain dead.
WHAT THE HELL DOES OBAMA HAVE TO DO WITH TOM BOSLEY’S DEATH YOU IDIOT??!!!! Save your stupid rants for a political article
You, Impeach, wouldn’t know a fact if it were to bite you. Geezzzz
Wow. I knew most of the ‘baggers and righties were insensitive and uneducated but this takes the cake. I can only hope that karma deals a swift, poetic blow to you and yours.
Such a shame the disgraceful lean the righties have taken. They don’t value human lives, they don’t value truth, logic or reason. What’s left for them except for insensitive rantings and celebrations when someone dies?
Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
And to Mr. Bosley…RIP. Your years of fine acting and class have brought joy to many, many people over the years.
How can anyone take this troll seriously? He can’t even compose a sentence properly or spell the word “Muslim” correctly. Sadly typical of the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing Fox News viewers who lurk on the web these days.
Obvious troll is obvious.
You are a disgrace to Humanity to use this forum for your ill thoughts.
Uhhhh!!! Hello? it says “film” The Backup Plan. No proofreader needed, just your brain engaged.
This is clearly not news…this is an opportunity to make others look stupid
RIP. You were one of the greats and I always enjoyed seeing your name in the credits.
I liked happy days as well as wait til your father gets home animation. May GOD bless you…
Rest in peace Mr.C.
TV’s quinessential dad. RIP Tom, You’ll be missed. Thought it also deserved a shout-out that he was a very active stage actor prior to Happy Days, too.
…and a Tony award winning stage actor at that.
Well you must feel really important!
Jimbo…great imitation of an azz!
Apparently Jimbo and Twitter-Entertainment2u are the same lonely, bored person.
We’ve recently lost a beloved TV mother (Barbara Billingsley) and now a beloved TV father in Tom Bosley. Rest in peace, Mr. C., and thank you.
Exactly my first thought when I heard this.
An under-rated actor. They had a lot of great lines on Happy Days, but one that struck me as perfectly sly the way he delivered it at the end of one episode. You have to remember a certain commercial that was HUGE at the time to get why it was such a good pay-off. Richie’s team had just lost an important basketball game, they’re walking out of the gym, and Mr. C. is trying to console him with the usual father-to-son words. Then Bosley pauses just a bit, and puts his hand out, and deadpans, “here, have a Lifesaver”
one of the earlier seasons when the characters stayed *in-character*. thanks for reminding me.
So very true and sad.
Two classic TV parents in a few days…
Rest in Peace Father Dowling/ Sheriff Tupper. Those are the parts I knew you for the best
RIP Mr. Cunningham. You will be missed.
What a bummer! Mr. C will always be the ultimate iconic dad figure for TV.
My daughter and I listen to Tom Bosley everyday–as Belle’s father Maurice in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast. He was a terrific stage actor as well as a television institution.
Fortunate to see him on stage in the roll, he was excellent every time he played a father.
Godspeed, Mr. Bosley!
I knew him as Father Dowling, but I loved him best for voicing David the Gnome. In every wish and dream and happy home, you will find the kingdom of the gnomes! That was my absolute favorite show as a child.
My first thought was of David the gnome too
Wow. I just remembered he was David the Gnome!
I thought of that too. I miss that show… and all the others that used to be on Nickelodeon back in those days. “Look around you, there are many things to see that some would say could never be.” I can still sing every note just like that little 6 year old me used to. Tom Bosley gave us all a lot of great memories.
oh and ps – RIP, TOM. a good guy.
Rest in peace good sir.
My thoughts and prayers to Mr. Bosley’s family. God is getting a good man.
