Vicki Gunvalson is a housewife no longer. Gunvalson, one of the ladies of the Bravo reality series Real Housewives of Orange County, has filed for divorce from her husband of 16 years, People reports. This follows news on Monday that her co-star, Tamra Barney, has also split from her spouse. Gunvalson and her husband, Donn, had renewed their vows on-camera as recently as 2009.

I was rooting for Donn and Vicki last season. Bummer that they couldn’t make it work. Donn seems like a really good guy. Vicki will never find another man that will put up with her.

Ug, Vicki is a terribly obnoxious person. Hopefully, Don will find happiness with someone who actually deserves his sincerity and patience.
Kudos to Don for putting up with Vicki all those years. Vicki is well intentioned, but she just hasn’t figured out when she goes overboard expecting people to accept her, love her, and be appriciative of the things she does for them. It’s all about vicki. It always been that way and I don’t think editing has anything to do with that.

I agree with everyone. I have to give it to Don for putting up with her all these years. She truly does not deserve a man like him and when she sees him with another woman and how amazing he is treating her, she’ll realize that she had a good thing.
Then what was all that lovey/dovey let’s renew our vows crap about last season? All of this is Tamra’s doing……maybe Simon did have something to complain about!!
Anyone could’ve seen that all of Vicki’s seasons with Don last season were a complete sham. She got a lot of flack for treating him like dirt the season before and went into last year intent on repairing her image. Vicki is a needy, narcissistic black hole of desperation who drains everyone around her emotionally!
I like to call the “Housewives” series my own gratitude journal–after watching them, I am soooo happy that I am not them–their marriages, children, friendships, in fact their whole lives, are a train-wreck. They like to think that people watch them because they are jealous of their lifestyles and yearn to be like them, but, for me, it it just the opposite–it’s proof that money and glamour don’t make for happiness–after watching each show, I go to bed so much happier and thankful for what I have.
I agree. It is nice to have that sort of reminder every once and a while.

Awesome! Vicki & Tamara are just horrible people. I’ve commented on them many times. They both treated their husbands like crap…just like they treat everyone else. Maybe Don will get with Jenna. I loved her..and she always had a crush on Don. How cute would that be? And a knife in Vicki’s back to boot!

I really thought Donn was a sweet and very thoughtful guy. Vicki, you’re making a BIG mistake! No one is going to put up with you. Donn, hope you find someone that will appreciate you. You were too good for Vicki.
Vicki has been a pain in the bum since day 1, I agree with Madisa (well said)She is overbearing with her kids & friends. When anyone calls her on her behavior she gets offended & crys & banishes that person from her circle. Look how badly she treated Gina & constantly talked about her behind her back – well Vicki, the shoe is on the other foot now!
Vicki just seemed so out of touch with reality when it came to her marriage. You could even tell that she might have been mean to the 1st husband just by how she treated him when he came to see Brianna graduate from high school. The next man that comes along better be financially stable because he will be in a world of trouble if he is not.
