A spokesperson for Disney has confirmed that Keith Richards will indeed avast-ye-mateys once more in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. In an article that appeared in the London Times last Friday, the Rolling Stones guitarist announced that he had joined the cast of the fourth Pirates movie. “It takes two hours to put the wig and make-up on,” Richards said. “Back into the hairy prison. ‘Ooooh, sorry about my sword, babe,’ ha ha ha.” Johnny Depp famously based the character of Captain Jack Sparrow on the musician.

I’m definitely excited for the next Pirates of the Caribbean installment. I wasn’t too fond of At World’s End, but I have a feeling that On Stranger Tides will give the series a bit of a fresh start and could rejuvenate the series, especially since Orlando Bloom’s character won’t be around to annoy me.
I still say Disney should have done a prequal with Jack Sparrow first getting the Black Pearl. I think that would have been more interesting, you could have shown Bootstrap Bill before the dumb Davey Jones plot and show his friendship with Jack as well as possibly ended it with them setting sail for Isla De Muerta, an omnious note because the audience then knows what would soon follow…mutiny
Your reasoning is sound, and your points are well thought out. Except prequels suck.
Not all prequels, don’t let Star Wars scare you.
Great news regarding Keef! Now hurry back to your day job mate: making music with the world’s greatest rock band.
Great news. I loved what little we saw of him in At World’s End.
The novelty will be off, now. And before you know it, Mick Jagger, lead singer of the world’s second greatest rock band, will want to be in the movie.
… and the director of Chicago. I really hope this doesn’t mean I have to sit through a musical number.
oh my god he wasn’t that bad…and i look forward to this movie…i love jack and love his father….can’t wait for it…so excited!!!!!!! love johnny depp
